the mortifying ordeal (it was fine i'm just lightly embarrassed to be doing this again) of needing to post an update that I am rewriting six chapters of this series because I did not adequately think things through...

BUT! the satisfying ordeal of organising my notes and outline and drafts again...

contemplating rewrites as if holding some immensely tempting evil artefact but I think its probably better to fix what I do not like so I can move forward because........ while I could proceed from here I feel that I could improve the pacing etc so much with just one rather severe edit of the last chapter of part 1 / what I have so far of part two. and if I do that now 🤔 I will not have to deal with as many issues going forward. hate to do this to people who have already read what is published but at the same time I was going through some sort of episode when I finished part one (easier to recognize that now) and....... 🤔 it could be better............ BUT it's also. the fact that I changed the outline and that actually does necessitate edits. in future I need to make sure I have everything heavily outlined before I publish... so I avoid this problem in future.

also I need to redo all my notes + outlines because I think part of why I am in this mess is. I was not adhering to the actual detailed notes and timetables while writing this pre-school section
