Like imagine if someone made a show that went REALLY far out of its way to have lots of representation and pitched itself as having lots of representation and everyone clamoring for more diverse media got really invested in it and then the show sucked ass. Like can you imagine what a NIGHTMARE that would be? Can you imagine the discourse? The bitterness? The down-badness of it all?

I dont know what’s so difficult to understand for this guy.

I’ve started an # , but there are so MANY people who don’t like the end of Frozen 2 or didn’t like the movie at all.

Every single day there is somebody new in my Twitter timeline who finds our # or who expresses ideas similar to mine and my friends’ . Every single day.

I don’t understand how somebody can twist the reality of the situation which is ‘according to many people the movie sucks’ and turn it into ‘Isa managed to convince hundreds of people around the world to share her vision’ 👀

I wish i had this power! Lol I would use it for something more important than a movie! 👍🏻

But since I don’t...maybe, just MAYBE try to understand that not everyone agrees with you and if many people have problems with this movie, maybe there’s something there?!

But most importantly: do not harass people trying to find them on different platforms when they block you on one or 2.

It’s creepy. And it will just get you another block, and another. So really, what’s the point?

This isn’t a war, it’s people having different opinions on a kids’ cartoon. A bit of perspective….

P2- As long as the couple is still dating, his obsession with her is considered “romantic” and “devoted.” But when the couple breaks up,for whatever reason, his behavior is now considered unhealthy and toxic. The news labels this type of person a “stalker” bc ppl only consider this type of behavior wrong when two ppl stop dating. I’m tired of ppl calling this type of behavior a form of “romance.” It’s creepy and unsettling, and women should never want to be in a relationship like this.

I thought I was the only one really off-put by the way Kristoff seems to center his entire being around Anna. Not only is it creepy, but it just makes him come across as...a really boring character. Like what drives Kristoff besides Anna??? What are his likes, besides ice and reindeer??? What does he want out of life???

Like sure, a lot of Anna’s character centers around Elsa in Frozen 2, but there’s still more to her. She loves people, but she’s kind of socially awkward. She’s determined to do the right thing, even when she’s lost everything. She cares greatly for her kingdom, but she has to overcome issues of codependency, insecurity, and impulsiveness. She may be a tad clingy with her sister (not without good reason!!! They were separated for like 13 years!!!), but there’s still more to her than just that.

And with Kristoff, just...everything he does goes back to being about Anna. Even when he makes friends with Ryder, it’s like “HELP ME PROPOSE TO MY GIRLFRIEND!” I have to wonder how poor Anna isn’t just...bored out of her mind, considering her boyfriend’s entire identity seems to revolve around worshipping her and servicing her. And considering how selfless Anna is, I highly doubt she’s so egotistical that her partner being obsessed with her is the main thing she wants out of a relationship.

And honestly, even just in general, this...isn’t what women want??? We want a partner who is interesting to us, who we can really connect with--someone who compliments our strengths and weaknesses. We want a partner who engages us physically, mentally, and emotionally, and someone who, at the end of the day, we can enjoy the company of. Someone who we can just goof off and have fun with at the end of the day.

When do we see Anna and Kristoff just like...actually seeming to enjoy each other’s company? I mean...maybe during the charades scene and the coronation scene (even then, he immediately complains about having to wear royal clothes...you know, the stuff he would have to wear EVERY DAY as a Prince Consort???), but other than that, I don’t think these two have a single conversation in F2 that doesn’t end in them both getting anxious and insecure, or Anna quickly getting distracted from him because something much more interesting than their incredibly bland, forced romantic relationship is happening nearby XD He just...barely seems to even interest her as a person??? And I can’t blame Anna for being disinterested, either, considering his entire being is just liking ice, liking reindeer, and Dumb Antics. I get that it’s Disney and you can’t expect super fleshed-out characters in a 90-minute animated kids’ movie, but I feel like it’s telling that Flynn Rider and, hell, MAXIMUS THE HORSE from Tangled have INFINITELY more personality than Kristoff.

I feel like there’s this really problematic narrative I see a lot that a woman’s be-all end-all goal for a straight relationship (thank god this garbage trope hasn’t made it into the LGBT romances I’ve seen lol) should be a man who loves her more than she loves him and completely adores and obsesses over her, because “d’awwww, it’s so cute that he wuvs her dat much!!!” As opposed to...what? Is it the norm for men NOT to love their girlfriends a lot, despite that being like...the point of a romantic relationship??? And since when was obsession (and basically HAVING NO IDENTITY OUTSIDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP) romantic??? Like Kristoff literally SAYS “Who am I if I’m not your guy” in his song, brO that’s not healthy!! I’m no relationship expert, but not having an identity and hopes, goals, and dreams outside of your relationship seems...really bad???

Anyhow y’all know I’m a Hiccanna stan so I’m sure it’s not all that surprising that I honestly hate Krist/anna. Still, I know that this is a pretty Hot Take in the Frozen fandom, so I’m sorry if this offends anyone. I’ve just always thought the Krist/anna relationship was really forced, and the direction they took it in F2 made it even worse for me due to Kristoff’s general obsessiveness.

Kristoff was stubborn and extremely oblivious to how human interaction works, since he was raised by rock trolls. But he was so rude to Anna and Oaken for really no reason. And Anna only went to him in the first place for circumstances, and then he was rude to a princess. A PRINCESS.

And then for the rest of the franchise, Kristoff became very one-note. Just used for jokes or as a romantic interest. From him having to protect Anna’s cake and declaring his love in Frozen Fever, trying to prove why his troll traditions work and then his stupid subplot.

Kristoff is rude and talks down to Anna from the jump, and gives her shit for marrying a guy she just met when, like you said, he does a 180 and suddenly wants to date her after like 2 days??? Definitely makes you raise an eyebrow at the movie’s supposed “love at first sight is bullshit” spiel. But going from being annoyed with someone to being completely enamored with them and wanting to date them over like a day is totally valid???

And yeah, he’s rude to Oaken too! And it BAFFLED me how willing he was to give shit to a PRINCESS about her life decisions. Like WE know it’s Anna, WE know that she’s nice and understanding and will easily forgive a subject for being disrespectful and all that, but it’s like...on what PLANET do you meet the princess of your country and almost immediately start grilling them and mocking them about their love life??? Like there’s being socially oblivious, and there’s being an idiot...or just a colossal asshole who says “to hell with the consequences, I’m gonna shame this girl about her love life 5 minutes after I meet her, whether she’s a princess or not!” Or...maybe both??? Not sure what the creators were going for here, but it sure did not make me ship him and Anna lol

Totally agree, after Frozen 1 he lost what little charm he DID have and just became so unbearably boring. There’s just...nothing interesting or exciting to explore further in his character. Like he likes reindeer, but you can only do so much with that. He doesn’t seem that well-suited to court life, but I guess that doesn’t matter because he’s totally obsessed with Anna and will bear it for her no problemo. He’s an ice deliverer, so...cool. What else does he do with his time? And what on earth do he and Anna even talk about??? What size to cut ice blocks into to most optimally fit them on his sleigh to deliver them to people??? Why do I have difficulty picturing them having like...ONE interesting conversation?

I’m sorry, but my girl Anna always has and always will deserve better. She deserves someone dynamic and interesting who she can have fun with, but also someone who challenges her and someone who she can grow with. And she certainly deserves better than to get tied down with the most boring, milquetoast Satellite Love Interest of all time, all because the creators thought this incredible, resilient, dynamic firecracker of a woman should spend the rest of her life with a dude who barely has enough personality to fill an espresso cup.

No but really.. this is one my MAIN issues with KA lmaooo

And before somebody tells me to not screencap other people’s post…well, I have the best teachers among the multishippers of this fandom so I’m just doing what they did since forever. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The interesting this is how some people are now dropping every pretense.

They spent the last year and half telling us (who were complaining and asking to BringElsaHome) that Elsa “ViSiTs aLL tHe TiMe!!!!!” and we should stop it.

I’ve always said it was a trick, that they wanted us to stop cause they loved the new situation too much cause…well, their header is self explaining:

And now they went from “But ElsA ViSiTs aLL tHe TiMe!!!!! to

“they have separate duties (and lives) and visit each other when they can”

Which means: “I don’t know why I loved Frozen since the beginning cause I never liked the sisters together if I’m ready to swap their special relationship for an interaction with a 42secs secondary character who disappeared 17 months ago”.

Well, at least now we’re being honest.

PS: notice the “last one try” suggesting we ignore the books cause we don’t know if they’re canon, even if Disney approves them, in the first lines…But yeah the last quote is self explaining.

Thank you, it’s all about ships, I knew it. And we were right to complain all along, and one more interesting thing: I see everyday RTed in my TL Disney fans who said Frozen 2 SUCKS and ruined the franchising.

Glad we can finally be honest with ourselves.

Ppl who like Frozen 2 are the ones who are in it for a 52s character relationship with Elsa in hopes they can project themselves in this pairing.

That’s the simple truth. There’s nothing complex to it.

Now, ppl who actually care and understand Frozen as a franchise dislike Frozen 2 bc we know that the narrative goes against the character’s previously portrayed arcs.
