I’d like to talk about my trauma more often but unfortunately in addition to being terrible I find my trauma to be very funny at times so the way I talk about it can absolutely horrify the people around me.

Mostly because a good chunk of my problems are entirely self-inflicted so where’s the idiot that did this to me? Oh, in the mirror there! There’s no escape! *honks my clown nose*

Right? My mom has been gone for 15 years. I still miss her. Obviously. But I’m well past the tender stage. I make a joke about not understanding how moms work because mine bit the dust and it’s like oh so sorry for your loss. Dude, I’m glad you have compassion. But I’m okay. Honestly. My mom is dead and I don’t know what adult relationships with mothers look like at all! That’s kind of funny! It’s okay to move on.

Same, ive lost count of how many times I've made Rape Jokes and made people think I'm an unstable sociopath....nope, just a part of the RVC (rape victim club)
