yusho is a shit fathere ( his not the worst to ever exist but the fact they play it of as his a good fathere pmo)
and i do not like how some people treat and charateris the yuboys ( i see alot of good post but sometimes grr)
and i also thing the legasy charaters show up in arc v shouldent have had that much screen time and given it to sylvio and gong and othere arc v charaters to explore their charater more then sceens of ooo look jack atlas oooooo ( his cool BUT HE HAD HIS TIME IN 5DS)
I don't like the zarc yuya form that shows up at the end,I hated it,like a lot. I rather would have had regular zarc show up and say some stuff like"all of them are gone,they were just pieces of me,now I'm me again."
I wanted more of a look at the side characters, especially lulu and rinrin.
I wanted there to be more of the school content, not the duelschool
The regular school that showed up for like 50 seconds.
I have more opinions but those are the ones that come to mind.
I do like the idea of the form, just not the design

For me, my hot take is that for the amount of time it took up, Synchro did fuck all for me. I blame it for why I never latched onto Yugo so hard. For all that he's in the season, all I learned is that he loves Rin and is loud. He should have had more interaction with the main cast.

Don't know if this is hot take, but here I go...
1º Zarc is a worst villain than Akaba Leo. They both took stupid decisions (Zarc resurrection plan never made any sense and it should never have happened if it wasn't for Akaba Leo) but at least Akaba Leo has a decent design and decent personality. Zarc doesn't have any of those.
2º Zarc and Ray life should have being brougth up along the series, instead of just one giant flashback that sums everything up. Especially to emphasize the differences between Yuya and Zarc, which he has (is a duelist champion and can hear monster spirits) but we can't see since it's all sum up, so Zarc always appeared to me as a Yuya 2.
3º Zarc and Ray should have had a relationship. I'm not even talking about a romantic relationship, but they should have knew eachother. Friends, lovers, rivals, enemies. I don't care which one. But they can't be just "The random who beat me vs the random i beat"
4º Zarc needed to have more participation for his plans to make sense. Either appear to the Yuboys in dreams or something, but he have to do something to not just rely on luck for his plan to work.
5º Syncro Arc replaced the war main theme of the series with the classism problems. Instead, it should have focus on how Roget would try to appeal to the council to unite with fusion under the promise that they would rule the other two dimentions while Reiji would claim that Fusion will betray them. Using classism to conquer the Syncro Dimention because they were the most difficult to conquer, so use the inner problems of the dimention to cause their downfall.
6º The Lancers taking part on the Friendship Cup doesn't make any sense. Supposedly, the only reason for why they are there is to gain the elder's trust and evaluate how good they are at dueling. But more than half of the participants are Lancers, how are they gonna evaluate them if the opponent of a Lancer is another Lancer? I remember clearly that one of the elders said: "You said your Lancers are strong but they are always losing" What do you want? It's a competition, there can only be one winner. Of course they are gonna lose, especially if you put lancers against each other!
I probably have more but that's mostly what I have for now...
