Beetlejuice at the Bristol Cathedral 🪲

Just had an amazing time at the Tim Burton concert by the Illuminated Orchestra.

During the performance, the entire ensemble said Betelgeuse three times and all pointed at me to shout "IT'S SHOWTIME" for the audience.

Glad I put a smile on people's faces. 😊🙏

This was what Betelgeuse would have originally been portrayed as in the Sammy Davis Jr version of the first movie's screenplay, before Tim Burton was considered as director.

Kind of reminds me a lot of Dr Facillier a bit, too.

We got ourselves a new shirt combo with David Fynn's version of Betelgeuse.

Grey shirt with black tie.

Harkens back to the plain white shirt of the Beetlejuice movies, but I like how it can be a visual metaphor of the moral greyness to the character.

I've always loved that over-the-shoulder promotion shot of Alex Brightman. It was probably the closest to MusicalJuice resembling his movie counterpart, even right down to the hair being as wild as Michael Keaton's.
