One of the ArtFight attacks I did; I did a lot more meaning that they’ll be coming out soon! ^_^
I decided to attack my friend (@beetle-luvr)’s oc, Musa, a well mannered and soft spoken drummer in an Afropunk band. I decided to do this attack due to the cultural and intricate design, reflecting both Mali and Nigeria through the mud cloth, the eagle and rising sun from Mali’s own coat of arms. The dandelion detail was also interesting, the flower reflecting emotional and spiritual intelligence and the warmth and power of the rising sun.
P.S I think Musa and Micah may get along pretty well! ^_^

In fandom in general I think people need to learn how to tolerate just being annoyed sometimes. There's a lot of popular ships I don't particularly like. I just ignore them, dude (and for me that's a lot of Starbee and Oplita to ignore). There's a lot of popular takes on certain characters I dislike. I ignore them when I see them (and that's a lot of "Bumblebee is a child"/"Bee is Optimus' son" I have to ignore). Seeing them so often IS annoying as fuck, but you make it worse for yourself when you stew in it. Find one or two buddies you can be feral about your favorite things with and you'll be much better off than focusing on how much you hate the other thing

One thing that drives me mad about this show is it kinda just picks and chooses when you should take abuse seriously or not.
When Gangle is being physically abused, made fun of and sexually blackmailed with her drawings and figures, it’s apparently just for shits and giggles while Gangle is left to suffer with only Zooble willing to help her.
When Ragatha opens up about her abusive mother, it cuts to the characters giving blank stares then it’s just brushed aside. When she was thrown into the deep fryer, writhing in pain, it’s supposed to be funny.
Meanwhile J*x talks about the abuse she went through and it’s meant to be taken seriously and be tragic.
Abuse isn’t something that you just play around with and choose when it’s important. Abuse is something SERIOUS that actually ruins people’s lives, so having Gangle and Ragatha’s abuse be downplayed and used as jokes is just extremely fucked up to me, especially since I’ve been in Gangle’s shoes before and relate to her deeply.
How am I supposed to take one characters abuse story seriously if it just points and laughs at another characters abuse story? Do you want me to laugh at their suffering or feel bad for them?
