“If there’s a white-feathered version of Panchito… how about a white-feathered version of José!?” And thus an entirely fan-made character from the Japanese side of the fandom.

Byakuhoku is (probably) a Brazilian parrot, given he’s derived from José Carioca. Like Shirochito, I’d assume he’s some kind of Japanese mix in some way. He isn’t very popular, and unlike Shiro, he doesn’t exist in canon media at all. Because of that, there’s really nothing to go off of in terms of profession, personality, or background. Or Well… I can’t really talk either. At least Shiro has a canon profession and a very vague canon personality.

On the account of Byaku being dressed as a mariachi, I don’t know. A lot of the time he’s depicted in the same mariachi outfit as Shiro (just like Shiro is usually depicted in Panchito’s mariachi outfit). We needed color variants, so I stole the lighter one from the 2016 Mickey Mouse shorts because the color fits him better. Either way, that would still imply he’s a mariachi, which I don’t feel is entirely correct.

With Byakuhoku, it feels too natural to view him as a counterpart to Jose and, by extension, to Shirochito. Since Byaku only really exists because of Shiro, I’m led to put them together as a duo. In that sense, they start to feel a lot like counterparts or extensions of the “original” characters.

But I don’t like to view Shiro as an extension or counterpart to Panchito. To me, he’s entirely his own character (while still being associated with Panchito equally). It’s part of my effort to view Shirochito as a real, significant character on his own, not something derived from Panchito—although that may technically be the case, considering he’s literally just a recolored model of Panchito.

By the way, this was done last month, but since the author didn't want to post it on her blog, she sent me this and told me to post it, so I'm willing to post this and say thank you very much for this gift, I didn't expect this from you. Thank you and they are so great!

If anyone doesn't know, it's Dewey and Louie Duck and Gosalyn Mallard as teenagers as superheroes in my version of Q-Squad. Dewey as Blue Cyclops, Louie as Green Avenger and Gosalyn Mallard as Quiverwing Quack. The only thing missing is Huey Duck as Red Shadow and of course Louie is wearing a mask over his eyes, but overall they turned out great. Thank you so much dear Fllowerrpowerrr! Yes in my version of the Quack Pack AU, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck and Gosalyn Mallard become superheroes and act together.
