Faust is back for the 5th time! If you want to use the flag of your choice as an avatar, they're under the cut. They're free to use as long as it's for personal use only.

If you are hungry you should eat, always. We're having pizza cause we're on vacation and that's what's available honestly a lot of the time when she gets the night time hungers she wants scrambled eggs lol.

I give them a snack as part of their bedtime routine, and if they say they're hungry when it's time to sleep, we decide on what I'm making for breakfast in the morning. Satisfied with getting to decide to eat popcorn, Gatorade, and a sandwich for breakfast yet again, they will then go back to bed.

So being little literal beings, they’d crawl out of their room Christmas Eve night after already going to bed, and say it’s time to eat because Grandpa said so. It was adorable. To make things easier, we started to prepare a Christmas Midnight Snack plate with them, so that they didn’t need to wake themselves up with decisions or make a mess in the kitchen in the middle of the night.

They’re teens now, and I don’t ever remember the Christmas Midnight Snack plate until my kids start making themselves one before going to bed Christmas Eve. It’s a tradition now. Grandpa’s passed away, and this legacy of his lives on.

Outside Christmas, we’re not really a family of midnight eaters (except our 20yo when he still lived at home because he was in a fully different teenager timezone), but Christmas is different.
