That depends on the person.
If it were me, I'd definitely appreciate the gesture. If only because the people that mocked me damaged my public reputation in doing so. Especially with Bee and Weebus's review of my book.
At the very least acknowledging the hurt would be a good start. But I don't know who you hurt or how they feel about what you did.
