Hiiii Sipped hellooooo! I never got to ask in return, is Hag She/They or She/Her?
Eloping? Definitely. Her original church doesn't allow marriages outside of the followers and she is not a fan of them in general. I don't think she would be a fan of a traditional marriage either? The hassle seems like a headache. Eloping with Hag, oh, she'd be happy to do that if Hag was alive in the MC AU.
Zen (if you're talking about peace)? This Gravelyn is not calm. She's out and about, always needing to move so her mind doesn't have to think about the life she left behind, or the people she once knew. She might have moments where things feel smoother, feel better, but they're not permanent. She needs more reassurance that her old church can't like, manipulate her into coming back, even if she misses some people. Assuming Hag still does their usual practices, I, uh, think Gravelyn would be more scared for what happens if her church finds out about Hag.
However, I do think Gravelyn would stop by Hag's place (if Hag was like, living in a swamp in this AU like her canon counterpart) a lot more often and telling Hag about what she did during her travels.
Booze? Absolutely. No booze on the road, but booze when she can settle down somewhere. I imagine Gravelyn sitting and watching Hag do their own thing while Gravelyn sips at a glass of mead or something.
KoM x Minecraft TreeBound AU: Fury/Furie's Reference Sheet
TUMBLR DO NOT TAKE THIS DOWN TUMBLR I SWEARRRRRR. I just wanted to draw a giant lady made out of a universe(s).
Just in case, though, I'm putting Fury's reference and extra information under the cut:
Fury and Gravelyn deserve some love and TLC after all the Wheylan stuff I've done, so naturally, they get to have my favorite designs. Fury especially. I absolutely adore designing her.
This Fury is much closer to Fury's old self, before the theater's closure. She's nicer, more open to showing her compassion. She loves more openly, looks more closely, though she is unintentionally invasive about it.
As you may have noticed, she doesn't have a basic backstory. She is, was, will be.
As said in this post, the closest to a backstory Furie has is: "[A]t some point, Fury was [the friend once known]. She was the whisper that told you to make mud pies. She was the cloud that, if you looked at it just right, you would see a dragon. She was the idea, she was the joy. She was the sparkle in a child's eyes as they told you about something interesting they saw that day."
This question has probably occurred: What makes her a horror entity?
She is one of those, hm, accepted horrors? Like, you know how people get so used to seeing the horror thing in their horror mods they sort of just...dismiss it unless it attacks, and even then, some people take it more as an annoyance? People have adapted to her at this point in the mod, and if you, the player, asked any of the human NPCs (which would include Wheylan and Gravelyn/Grace), you would receive varying answers that all more or less end up at "we're used to this."
The fog, being a fog, still takes time to appear. You could do a lot of things: hiding early, walking through and hoping for the best, fight the mobs that spawn in (don't do that unless you want to like, trigger a boss fight or something), playfully flirt with the literal universe, stuff like that.
Be nice to the world, and Fury will be nice to you back. Maybe you'll get a nice gift for being such a good person (or a prank, who knows, really).
When you're in the negatives in terms of affection or approval for Fury, I think that's when the horror really settles in? You can keep playing, but you'll see your screen get blurrier, debuffs randomly stacking, the world turning into stars and the void, whispers and cries in your ears berating you for what you've done. You did not love the universe, so how could the universe love you back? NPCs may attempt to attack you, mobs are more likely to try and take you out, other entities might strike from the shadows, who knows?

Could you perhaps explain the concept of the "fog" in your mc kom horror AU?
I noticed it being mentioned twice now. I can't check now but I think once Wheylan mentioned some kind of "pink fog" specifically and "a fog" was mentioned in Gravelen's backstory too.
So I'm curious: what is "the fog" exactly? Is it tied to some kind of entity/entities in your au or is it something else entirely? How does it affect humans' life in your au?

Just as you were struggling to draw Ilian, I am struggling to draw Fury. However, I do have a screenshot to sort of explain the fog stuff. And, don't worry about spoilers, I am terrible at keeping in spoilers, and I like it when people ask for more information.
To put it simply, the (pink) fog, that both Wheylan and Gravelyn have referenced is from Fury. Fury is the creator of the pink fog. Any other fog is not hers, but other entities that roam around the world. Fury being Fury, it's hard to tell what her intentions are when it comes to the fog. People have learned to co-exist with the fog, and some even treat it as more of a nuisance than an actual threat.
Trigger warning: Discussions of death
As per usual, in-depth answer under the cut:
As you may know, I said my OCs are a package deal. You can't involve one in an AU without involving the others. I like keeping them together. The only OC left to create is Fury/Furie.
In the image above, you can see a tree. Specifically, a tree from Sky: Children of the Light. It's not an actual tree, though. It's made out of light, and so are its leaves.
I imagine Fury to be something very similar to this. She's not a real tree, but she still exists. She grows and she grows, towering above all, yet only visible out of the corner of your eye. Her roots have breached even through bedrock, and some have even described it being like a hug from a friend once known.
And, at some point, Fury was that friend. She was the whisper that told you to make mud pies. She was the cloud that, if you looked at it just right, you would see a dragon. She was the idea, she was the joy. She was the sparkle in a child's eyes as they told you about something interesting they saw that day.
She both existed before the idea, yet was simultaneously created by the idea. An enigma, just as she likes it.
Sadly, being an enigma was also a downside. Other entities with more physical bodies clawed through the imagination and brought about terror. Brought about fear. How can the children believe in adventure and fun when screams fill their minds? How can they have childhoods when adults around them tell them to grow up faster? Their imaginations tarnished, stained by scars that can't be so easily healed.
She mourns. She mourns her children. She mourns their strained connection to her.
She cries. Whether it be enraged tears or sorrowful weeping, no one knows. Her sobs fall, showering the world with a deep fog that creeps through the land. If you listen carefully enough, you can hear her cries, her choked up wailing.
The wiser entities know to let it through, the more rash ones consumed by the sparkling flood. Bodies turned into the cosmos, stars becoming their eyes. They are now part of her.
Humans have generally seen it as a negative thing. Fogs are generally associated with bad things, in my MC world. You can't see, you can get easily ambushed, the world is silent but what could be lurking right there? The lights do not cut through, and even if they do, who is to say it won't shine onto an entity? They don't seem to like that.
Just as the fog can consume entities, it can consume humans too. Being consumed by the fog means permanent death for humans. There is no way to respawn, or so they think.
Let's use a popular game mechanic to explain this. Like in a dating simulator, you get points for choosing the right dialogue and building up positive points. You lose points when you use the wrong dialogue or do something the character doesn't like.
Humans gain Furie's favor in three ways:
- Being self-aware
(know what you are and what consequences your actions have and doing something about it)
- Being their authentic selves
(be you, however terrible that is or not to someone else)
- Caring
The last one is vague, but if a person extends compassion and kindness to another, you get approval from her. The second way conflicts with the third. However, it is to say, if the second gets in the way of caring, you're on her bad list.
She chooses who she takes carefully. She knows people need time to sprout and change. She gives people chances. She watches and learns who would be the best to take, or not.
If her chances are taken for granted and the fog comes around again, no amount of protection will stop the fog from coming in, and the person is slowly broken down into shimmering stardust, blowing away at even the lightest of movements.
If her chances are accepted and the person is out during the fog, she leaves them a....gift. A part of their wall might turn into a view of the universe, some crops might be shimmering. If you're really favored, sparkles appear in your hair, twinkling and falling out with every breath.
If a person touches or consumes enough of this matter (while keeping her favor and not seeking her), then the next time the fog rolls around, the person is whisked away, transformed into an entity themself. They can not be truly slain, always able to come back with Fury's fog. Only they get to choose when they want to be rest, not even Fury herself dares to get in the way of that.
If I apply this to my own OCs:
Wheylan: Gets an "okay" from Fury. They're finding themself but she knows they can do better, so she's keeping an eye on him.
Gravelyn/Grace: Neutral territory. Furie understands her perspective, and it's one held by many people. But, Grace just isn't all that interesting to Fury.

Doctors are to black women what police officers are to black men. That may seem controversial but I believe it to be true and I speak from personal experience.
If you've seen this TikTok you know that a 2016 study showed that 50% of medical students and residents thought that black people couldn't feel pain the same as white people.
And we learned from this video that because of a 1999 study, to this day, there's a black correction factor for the creatinin levels in black people's kidneys, meaning we're less likely to recieve a kidney transplant if needed.
So if you go to a doctor, feel you aren't getting proper treatment or they refuse the treatment you've requested, say to them the following:
I will need you to document on record that you are refusing the treatment (or medicine) I've requested, and the reason you are doing so."
This works. I have used it in other situations. If medical staff have to document and take responsibility and be on the hook legally for doing shady shit they behave much differently.
If you werenât already going to spread this advice because black women are at risk, then spread it because itâs applicable to everyone else as well, including you reading this.

This was probably one of the last things I wanted to do, but with my current situation, I simply have to open these up. đ

To share my situation, I am over 20+, I recently had gotten outed of my sexuality by my parents I still currently live with. They went through my devices while I was not home, and due to their very homophobia, I am not able to continue living at home safely.
They have threatened to self isolate me as well as other worse threats. If it weren't for my fight or flight, fawning response, I likely would have already been gone without anyone even knowing.
I have a safe place to go in the next week, but as I have continued to support my family financially, I have been unable to hold most of my savings. These commissions are open so I can get through the first few steps of my apartment lease alongside my roommates.

KoM X MC Horror AU: Wheylan's Findings -> Entity "Little Puddle" - Entry #3
A window is smashed through, iron trapdoors slipped through with small traces of slime left behind. The sun was setting, a sparkling pink fog creeping in as the stars peeked through.
Wheylan fixed up the window, a cloth covering their mouth and nose. As they place woolen blocks over the doors and windows, he wonders how well Puddle will fare out there.
Many entities seemed to be able to create fog of their own. They had seen this many times in their life. They didn't usually attack one another, only humans. This Wheylan had seen the aftermaths of.
He shook his head. As much as he wanted to go out there to check on Puddle, it wasn't worth the risk of leaving the house. They had to stay put.
The last block of wool was placed, the house only illuminated through the lamps. Wheylan and his pets all scrambled downstairs into the basement, ready to hunker down until the morning came.

KoM x Minecraft AU: Gravelyn's General Reference Sheet
Unfortunately, Gravelyn does not get to have a Minecraft skin because the website I use to make them lags my computer severely.
Just like with Wheylan, Gravelyn (or Grace, as a human) has a general look. I was greatly inspired by Cerise Hood from Ever After High and then couldn't be bothered to add in a lot of detail.
I don't have much to talk about with Gravelyn. I need to flesh her out more.
Some general stuff about her under the cut. As per usual, questions are welcomed:
She's still an alcoholic. Uh, still very into women. She only dislikes entities, not hates them. She understands that just like people, entities are also on a spectrum.
She has a loving family. Her parents are still alive, if just old. She doesn't talk to her mothers anymore, but she occasionally sends letters about her travels.
She likes making spots for people to rest at, like little campsites that can hold one or two people. They're all very sporadic, and Gravelyn doesn't really keep track of those.
I like to think that she and Wheylan became friends due to her stumbling upon his farm early on and helping him with building the place. She probably stayed one or two months before departing again. She makes sure to visit at least once a month just to make sure her friend is still around.
Unlike Wheylan, she doesn't abuse the respawn mechanism. In my AU specifically, I think that while people can respawn, they don't know when they won't respawn. Like, there's an age or a point where their body can't handle respawning anymore, but since it varies so much from person to person, it's a risky thing to try. Wheylan happens to be a very resilient person, but in this world, there still isn't enough research to really know if resilience is a main factor for that.
She takes pride in her appearance, making sure her clothes are mostly undamaged and her armor is in great shape. She switched hairstyles and clothing once she left her church, though she kept the boots from her original job.
She and Wheylan have a compass thing where she has a compass that points to Wheylan's farm, always. They send each other letters once in a while through the use of traveling merchants. Grace swears she gets ripped off sometimes, damn emeralds.
And as a maybe funny thing, I think she would not try to save something like critter Eden. She'd hand it off to someone else (Wheylan). She's better at killing or warding entities off, not helping them.
KoM X MC Horror AU: Wheylan's Findings -> Entity "Little Puddle" - Entry #2
I'm still trying to figure out the AU name for my own characters, as they're all going to be in the same AU, a package deal, as people call it. So far, the working name is "Treebound."
In this journal entry, imagine Wheylan sitting in bed, stroking Eden/Little Puddle on the head as Eden curls into Wheylan's free arm, green eyes side-eyeing Wheylan's late-night writing. Maybe Eden makes a little questioning noise, Wheylan putting aside the notes to fondly look down at the creature.
Wheylan apologizes to the little thing, settling into the blankets and nosing Eden's healed forehead before turning off the lamps and going to bed.

Come to think of it, it really is insane that my entire country is burning alive and literally no one in the rest of the world cares. Thousands of Indians are dying every day from the heat, it's 45+ degrees in multiple areas, the government couldn't give two fucks, we're getting severe warnings and red alerts, and not a soul outside of South Asia is speaking about it because why would you ever care about brown people
USA folks, that is a consistent temperature range hitting 113°. Death Valley temperatures. In Banda, it hovered between 116°-118° (47°-48° C) for a week straight.

I would also like to mention that Banda has significantly higher humidity than Death Valley even during the dry season so if those numbers aren't heat index adjusted, it probably felt even hotter than that.

Wheylan, in general, is not much of a doodler. In this alternate universe, even less so. They're focused on gathering information and jotting it down. Their sketches are for connecting what something looks like and for self-indulgent purposes, especially ones that are as cute as Puddle.
They are very attached to Puddle, though the journal does reveal some of their more accidentally harmful means of figuring out what works on entities.

Namaygoosisagagun First Nation/Collins has burned to the ground. The entire community is nothing but ashes after being quickly consumed by wildfires. They did not have any support from emergency services, and no one offered aid. The community saved themselves by escaping into boats because no one came.
Mishkeegogamang and Cat Lake have lost power. Families are ending up in shelters with nothing. Armstrong, Lac La Croix, Whitesand, Gull Bay, Lac des Mille Lacs are currently in the fires path and all members are being evacuated.
All this loss, all this devastation, and it was entirely preventable.
After steadily underfunding wildland firefighting and purposefully excluding Indigenous wildland firefighters and Indigenous wildfire organizations from wildfire operations, firefighter training, decisionmaking, and resource exchanges, in 2025, Doug Ford slashed the forest firefighting budget.
It's hard to ignore his decision to cut funding and leave us out of adequate fire training (even though we've lived with forest fires for thousands of yearsâfar longer than settlers have been in Canadaâand made sure fires like the ones we're all seeing today were prevented through kinisitotÄn) when, despite making up less than 5% of the population, we account for 42% percent of all wildfire evacuations in Canada.
And when we are successfully evacuated, we face discrimination and racismâlike Kashechewanâbecause it's always been easier to blame us than it is to blame the true culprit: denialism, corportate greed, and colonization.
The people of Collins and every other impacted community deserve better.
Right now, the AFN is currently accepting donations to help Collins First Nation. If you're able to, please consider donating.
ONWA (Ontario Native Women's Association) is another great place to donate to. They have outreach vans going to motels and inns and offering food, water, resources, and cultural support to those impacted by the wildfires.
Other places to consider donating to are Mikinakoos Emergency Fund, Red Cross, True North Aid, Indigenous Climate Action. You can also send donations directly to Whitesand First Nation via e-transfer ([email protected]) and they request that you add your full name in the e-transfer comment section to receive a tax receipt.
