When I first read this I giggled because it's kind of true but also not but also yes? I imagined how Vigil would go ask about "Ilian" and people would go: who?? Because I imagine that most folks don't even know his name lmao. Especially that he changed it. He doesn't use his old name anymore and I don't think many even remember it. After all, he doesn't really hang out with people that often. Only when he says the word "thief" and maybe even describes some of the physical features as there are various crooks and conmans out there people might get who is he talking about. "Ill have to think again what'd cause them to do that, I sometimes like to think it wouldnt take long for Ilian to find the area where the Vigilante often lingers. He'd plan, make mental maps, figure stuff out. Take breaks to not make Vigil too anxious and defensive but then come back once again. Bro imagine that Ilian finds himself somewhere close to Vigil's place or at least on the good track and he almost steps into one of the traps. Almost. But he wouldn't. He'd notice something's... off. Why? Okay imagine that... he somehow got some info from some of the bad characters around the town that had some experience with Vigil.. or found some reports or anything of such kind from Knights who were tracking Vigil down but couldn't continue because they got stopped by some traps... Again, Ilian is quite good at gathering information whether by evesdropping, stealing, or peaking into people's things and notes. And he's also quite good at noticing patterns. Gosh imagine Vigil would lowkey be watching him Maybe he'd try to activate one of the traps with his blood ability or something but it'd just miss Ilian or idkk Or he wouldn't activate it because he'd notice how Ilian is eyeing something as if he knew about the trap Though honestly would need to think about this more but it's so interesting to think how would Ilian find the base

WAHAWHW i can only imagine the journey to get Ilian up there, while he doesnt seem to be afraid of heights, it would be interesting to imagine for Vigil to let Ilian tag along with him through routes consisting walking through wooden panels and grids.

I think between the two, its probably easier on Vigils part to see Ilian as a friend. He likely wouldnt say it aloud, Vigil can get a good read on Ilian enough he's the closed off type but he would too, appreciate his company. Because its nice! Even if said company taunts and banters with him, it's still company." Annd that's why the doodles. Because I think that with time they could genuinely start hanging out. I think that although Ilian would definitely also sometimes hangout on some higher constructions of the theatre, he'd probably mostly stick to ground level routes and paths. So if Vigil would start taking him with him through his routes, I think it'd be quite a nice experience. I do giggle at the idea of Vigil showing him some of his routes thinking its such a secret and Ilian goes: oh, that. Yeah. Like it's so obvious xD But some would definitely be routes that Ilian does not know about.

Gosh imagine Vigil shows him some routes with pretty views or maybe the journey to get to there would become some kind of challenge for them, parkour and stuff.. imagine some of the routes do need a bit of parkour skill to get to the other end and Vigil would start teaching Ilian and Ilian might make some mistakes just because he's of a shorter posture, but he'd be patient and determined and heck; he might even find his own way to get to the place which might be surprising for Vigil like.. okay that's clever ig... kdllmglbml I think these two could surprise each other quite often with their individual skills and all!! Gosh I can imagine Ilian reaching his hand slowly but pausing to ask Vigil if he can touch his face and if he gets a yes then Vigil might be surprised at how... gentle Ilian would be with his touch. He'd kind of put his palm on the part of the cheek that's still there and then.. he'd just gently caress and explore for himself while his stoic, gentle gaze is focused on the jagged edges where the jaw was broken off... He'd sometime look in Vigil's eyes before looking back at his face. Again, kind of memorizing the features there. I think in some art Vigil's teeth aren't visible so I suppose its a part of his true form that's kind of shadow-like like Jestyn's so he can show them or not. Either way, if he did show them or were visible for Ilian, I think he could get curious about them honestly. Maybe even ask Vigil to open them up. He really wouldn't be put off by how sharp or uncanny they look, and honestly h'd have half a mind to kiss him on them, what a freak lmao I keep thinking about how Ilian would find other ways to kiss, though. Even if they wouldn't be direct kisses. I think I mentioned this somewhere but he'd kiss him in other places. Bits of his face that he still has like cheeks, nose, forehead, ears, neck, collarbone, shoulders, chest-- honestly there are a lot of places. Tbh you're so right about that. I think Ilian would absolutely have the "you're an idiot for trusting me, but I'm not actually going to stop you" kind of attitude. Especially early on, when it's like an early stage of their friendship maybe, he'd probably find Vigil's casual trust and confidence almost baffling because Vigil is so careful about his identity in other areas, yet apperantly has no problem falling asleep beside him. Heck, maybe he'd lowkey warn Vigil or comment on that: "You hide your identity like it's a matter of life and death, yet you'd fall asleep against me without a second thought. Strange priorites." And when he'd realize Vigil is serious he'd go like: "..You really are far too trusting." He'd probably glance down at Vigil already settling in "..It's almost insulting."

But he really wouldn't try to stop him. He could think of milion things he could do to Vigil. He could steal, he could take off his mask, he could hurt him, he could kill him if he wanted to. ...He'd stay til the 15 minutes are done and he would wake him up.

But in the meantime that Vigil is asleep I think he'd keep still and probably just watch him sleep while he still stays aware of their surroundings.

Waking up, means waking up, and he'd probably want to stretch to go about his day. OUGH i imagine its one of another things he'd have to get used to now that he has another person in his life. Not that its a bad thing!! It gives more life to see his routine. But in this scenario where he's up against the wall with a very easily alert thief behind him, he'd have four options in his head.

A. Give up B. Admit Defeat C. Get up and potentially wake Ilian D. Go back to sleep (Also defeat)

And naturally option C isn't gonna be the answer haha. But then again, Ilians probably already awake. Its so curious to think how easy it all is for Vigil meanwhile Ilian's probably left awake and to his thoughts. To ponder and wander over Vigil's character and the whys of it all."

This made me giggle bc it's so cute to imagine how Vigil would sacrifice few more moments or even hours to let Ilian sleep while Ilian indeed might be awake or half-asleep just letting himself enjoy this closeness as he cuddles in even closer, his face buried in Vigil's shoulder or neck, maybe a leg is wrapped around him too haha Ughh I don't. remember if I mentioned this but yeah Ilian would stay awake, probably pretending to be sleeping, only to ponder about Vigil and them and his plans and it all. Ilian is quite a sentimental person tbh... Gosh the way he'd sometimes bring Vigil closer and bury his face in the crook of his neck or his hair even more to maybe try and fall asleep or at least bring himself a little bit more of that comfort.

Honestly not so proud of them, especially with how Ilian turned out on the last two, but that's okay. Puppet anatomy is hard to draw honestly; the joints make it quite difficult to make the body look not so,,, rigid.
