It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. Whatās happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, itās not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.

US citizens can call/email their local government officials asking for a ceasefire

ghost and gaz thinking itād be funny if gaz dressed up in all of ghostās get-up for halloweenāwithout telling anyone that would be the plan
then cue a costume party where everyone is dressed up, getting drunk, having a good time
but soap ends up getting a little too drunk. ends up with great courage he wouldnāt otherwise be able to muster and decides that that night would be the night he finally confesses his feelings to ghost
except it isnāt ghost he says everything to. itās gaz, who knew very much about soapās infatuation, unable to think of a way to interrupt soapās speech before itās too lateābefore the real ghost is stepping in, leading soap away too a quiet corner and far away from any more drinks, heart caught in his throat as soapās words echo in his head, meant for him, but mistakenly aimed at the wrong person
soap is panicking once he realizes whatās happened, tripping over his words and stumbling over an apology when ghost just shushes him and says, itās okay, i feel the same. weāll talk when youāre sober.
and the next day, out of costumes and free of confusion, soap redoes his confession, only to be cut off by ghost sweeping him up in a kiss he claims to have been waiting forever to finally share.
