Environmental Insomnia

Here are some pictures of my most recent project. The final installment of "Structures" this is a collection of images showing both development and final products of the project. I hope you enjoy it.

In the meantime while I wait for my next environment to get underway, here are a few things I've created along the journey :) This piece is from way back in my foundation year and was the very first mixed media installation I made. The theme was on space (not outer space but physical space) and despite the deadline for the project being a week I managed to create quite an ambitious project.

This structure is one of my final designs from last year. It is made from chicken wire and mod roc with a sealed and varnished finish. It was one of a set of three.

This is another coloured structure made the same was as the previous just using a bigger plinth to build on

This is one of my structures made from plastic bags and paper mâché. These pieces are all part of my building and making processes.

I will proceed to upload my work from last year following the theme of Merz. This piece is a direct response to my trip to the Merz Barn and my experience their.

This images is the product of a group project inspired by late Artist Kurt Schwitters and was made at the residence of his Merz Barn in Cumbria.
