Into the unknown

Sometimes allowing yourself to be embraced by darkness can let the way out shine through. 

Even though this is the place where I was born and raised, it no longer feels like home. I was able to find my “home” someplace else; however, it does not rest on the physical plane, it rather floats within the boundaries of time. It saddens me that right now it is out of my reach, but I yearn for the day in which I can visit that wonderful place once more.

I saw the cherry trees flowering for the first time ever, and all I can say is: This sight is worth the wait, and I would do it all again. 

All roads lead to Rome...(?) I certainly hope so...
