Like, first and foremost it villainizes Allur/a by implying that she’s somehow using Lanc/e and his feelings, which beyond being inaccurate is just shitty. Plus it implies that Lanc/e CANT have meaningful relationships with people besides Ke/ith, which is unrealistic and unhealthy. Even if you prefer kla/nce, you shouldn’t have to invalidate every other meaningful relationship K & L have (and y'all have a history of this by the way) just so they can get together. Support systems are made of more than one person, and Allur/a and Lanc/e are an undeniably important part of each other’s. They’ve spent seasons building up their relationship to the point where it’s at now, which has excellent open communication and is almost unconditionally supportive. Relationships like that mean shit. And you can interpret that relationship platonically without invalidating or trivializing it in any way. Platonic love exists.

And also, on the subject of “Allur/a doesn’t love Lanc/e like KEI/TH does” this bothers me a lot because I mean…. yeah, Allur/a and Kei/th are different people who express emotion differently. Just because Kei/th expresses emotion a different way doesn’t mean Allur/a inherently loves Lanc/e less. Allur/a has been a political figure all her life, and what we’ve seen time and time again in this show is that Allura is very very good about packing her emotions into neat boxes whenever they’re not productive. Allur/a is not very open about her actual feelings, and she’s too private for her own good a lot of the time. Contrast this to Kei/th, who has less of a handle in general of his emotions, he hates lying, and he shows a lot of his emotion on his face. Kei/th is probably going to look more affected by his interactions with Lanc/e just because he and Allur/a deal with emotions differently.
