“Oh My God I Am Totally Bi.”

.Before the events of the books i feel like he would never have serious conversations about it and would hate when other people would ask him about it. If someone tried to talk to him about it he would initially try to downplay how serious it is and make jokes about it while trying to quickly change the subject. However if someone kept trying to talk to him about it I feel like he would shutdown. He'd go quiet and and try to not talk as much as possible. If the person still insisted on talking to him about it he would snap. He'd get extremely annoyed and would start telling them to leave him alone and to mind their own business.

. When him and Wylan start living together I think he would try to stop entirely because he doesn't want Wylan to be upset with him. This dose not last very long and he ends up not telling Wylan about his relapse for weeks. When Wylan finds out he's not upset that Jesper relapsed, he's upset that Jesper didn't tell him.

…And Jesper is wearing a bedazzled belt over purple pants, a green shirt, and a multicolored waistcoat. His hat is striped with pins among the brim. His shoes have a small heel which isn’t even a style in Ketterdam yet, but he adopted it from his riding gear. He has a pocket watch that doesn’t tell the time but it looks cool. If the mission doesn’t require stealth, he jingles everywhere he walks.

nina has the first aid booth. it is perhaps the coolest area of the whole festival, with a red double-tent providing shade and air conditioned fans running all around it. she wasn’t going to spend her pride as a boring nurse though, so she decided to dress in full drag. like, long wig, padded dress, full beat, the whole nine yards.

matthias is affectionately titled the “water boy” for nina’s booth. seeing as it’s like a gazillion degrees and the middle of summer, most of the tent is filled with heat exhausted and dehydrated people. matthias handles those cases, giving them water and a seat in the shade, or for worse cases being sent to pick up a passed out person to lay on the exam table and cool off, giving nina time to deal with the less common issues.

wylan has a face paint booth. he’s mostly doing big designs all across kids faces (animals, rainbows, etc.) but his favorite part is definitely people who want more intricate designs. for himself he did gay flag eyeliner on one eye and rainbow on the other.

kaz is set up beside wylan’s booth (to take advantage of his steady flow of customers waiting in line) doing cards tricks and sleight of hand magic for tips. while he isn’t exactly wearing rainbows, he has on a very very faintly pink shirt and a navy blue vest, which is significantly brighter than normal.

inej is working booth beside kaz’s setup for a nonprofit raising awareness against human trafficking. she’s handing out free paper fans and water cups while accepting tips and donations for the charity, which works well seeing as there is no shade at kaz’s magic setup and the people watching it are standing in the heat. although she was wearing a boring logo shirt, she had wylan paint rainbow freckles and stars on her cheeks.

When we get our first scene with Paul and Emma, the two are dressed in their respective main outfits. These are the ones people tend to associate with them.

But throughout the show, as they get closer and bond, their outfits become more and more similar. Pretty soon Emma's lost the apron

Then at the professor's house, Paul loses the jacket

and by the time McNamara is infected, Paul has his sleeves rolled up and Emma's bow tie has come undone.

At this point, the two are at their most aesthetically similar, and also the closest they've been the entire show. This is moments before the helicopter crash and their failed kiss. They remain this way for a good chunk of time...until Paul comes back

It's like some fast-paced foreshadowing. Emma remains in her changed state, the same as her character, but Paul is back to square one. He's wearing the same outfit he was when they met, and they no longer align. She doesn't know who he is anymore.
