The next Ninjago Adventure is starting!

Lloyd and Echo are stuck in a world that reminds them of looking into a weird mirror. It's familiar but very different at the same time.

Movie Lloyd is shy and set on never doing anything wrong to not be like his dad while Show Lloyd is embracing the chaos around him. (I genuinely cannot write Lloyd as anything other than a gremlin-)

Movie Echo is a little kid filled with innocence and rainbows. Show Echo, who was Mr. E, is a teen filled with trauma who’s slowly turning into gremlin 2 thanks to Lloyd.

I obviously had to include Neji and Naruto for Pride Month!

Anyway I just wanted to tell everyone how insanely smart Carlos is.

He built a device to see more channels on his tv while they were still on the isle (very limited resources). Said device shot a hole into the barrier allowing some magic inside. (That’s from the first novel.)

Once on the isle he figures out computers and video games in less than a day to a point he can pin point where the wand is. They probably didn’t have computers on the isle.

Wu always was very gentle with Wu. Wu claims it’s because Morro was so young when he started his training. Morro doesn’t buy it.

He notices the little things. While Wu’s training got harsher now that Morro is older, it’s never quite as harsh as the others. They train together but where Wu is harsher in his words with the other ninja, he is still very gentle with Morro.

Eventually everyone notices.

Wu doesn’t even notice himself. To Wu Morro is the most precious thing in the world. Blame his dragon/oni nature. The one thing those two can agree on is keeping little ones, especially your own, safe and being gentle with them.

Wu occasionally finds himself questioning it as well. He knows he isn’t but sometimes the similarities are too much.

Morro even picked up little habits that are fully dragon. Wu was incredibly protective of his hatchling student and occasionally growled a little at strangers that got too close. Morro does the same thing once he’s closer to Lloyd.

Garmadon is convinced that Wu had a one night stand and Morro came out of it. No it doesn’t matter that Wu keeps telling him otherwise.

Morro doesn’t know why they make a big deal out of it. Wu is his Baba, it doesn’t matter if there blood relation or not.

A kingdom where the terms King and Queen aren’t gendered. The King is the one born into the royal family, the one that inherited the throne while the Queen is the one they married.

Which means a kingdom where there could be a female King and a male Queen and that could just cause so much confusion for the audience and the MC.

Today’s Pride Month drawing is Spicynoodles!

Kai remembers his parents being very affectionate towards each other and him and Nya. Nya associates that affection with Kai more than their parents.

Kai has little to no problem showering the guys in the same affection. They’re not used to it. Zane doesn’t remember having someone being this affectionate with him, not that Dr Julien was as affectionate as Kai. Cole is not used to it anymore because of his strained relationship with Lou. Jays parents showered him in affection but having another guy be that affectionate is new to him.

When Lloyd joins and gets to affection he adores it. Lloyd is severely touch starved and Kai showers him in love. Every time he does something worthy of a praise, Lloyd looks at Kai expecting affection. Kai ruffling his hair, a hug or the jackpot itself a kiss on the cheek!

Pixal enters the picture and she’s over analyzing Kai’s affection at first. Even when she’s stuck in Zane’s head she observes and doesn’t quite get why all of them adore Kai for it. Until she’s back to having a physical body and Kai starts to shower her in affection too. Kai’s been wanting to do that for years! Can’t hug someone who doesn’t have a body! She slowly understand what the fuss is about and enjoys it.

Fast forward to Dragons Rising and the kids getting showered in love. Wyldfyre thinks is weird but likes it anyway. Arin is reminded of his parents and while he cries a little the first time, loves Kai for all the hugs he gives them. Sora is not used to it. She’s touch starved, especially from parental affection. Kai easily fills that spot. She looks for praise from him just like Lloyd did when he was a kid. Frak loves the warmth that comes with Kai’s hugs. He’s a serpentine, he likes basking in the sun, hugging Kai is love hugging the sun itself. He loves it.

In the story Macaque is thrown into the original Journey to the West and helps the pilgrims. He has no way home to his timeline and someone JTTW Wukong is head over heels for him.

Now I thought it would be funny if the Wukongs fought over Macaque-

Like Macs been there for a bit and the pilgrims maybe know the truth (or parts of it) and then Wukong and MK just show up. Why is MK here too? Cause I also need the Wukongs fighting over MK.

Macaque and MK are just watching the shit show and talking to the pilgrims while the Wukongs try and fail to kill each other.

Polytrix! A much better relationship than them and the Saja Boys-

The first „side effect“ is that no child has survived birth until Kai. The elements want to move in to its next master but since there’s two elements and only one host, they fight inside the child. That fight is too much for a newborn and the child passes shortly after birth. If the child even gets born.

Kai miraculously survived thanks to a shit ton of healing tea and pure stubbornness.

The side effects that since appeared in Kai was that he was a weak child. He was lacking in his growth and abilities when compared to kids his age. Every time Kai was sick his parents (and Wu and Garmadon) would panic. But every time Kai mad it out okay.

When Kai was two and a half years old he started to get better really quickly. The reason? Maya was pregnant with Nya. At the time no one could explain it, it would take years until Kai and Nya figured it out, but Nya being on her way made one element chose her as its new host. Leaving Kai as the master of fire. The first think Nya ever did was save her brothers life. Without her Kai likely wouldn’t have made it to adulthood.

Given that the element stayed with Kai for roughly three years he has some interesting quirks.

The reason he is afraid of water is because he has an odd connection to it. He can feel the unpredictability of the water but feeling that and knowing you can’t do anything about that freaks him out. But at the same time water can be a comfort as long as it isn’t a large body of water-

Nya on the other hand has some fire resistance. She still gets a burn but it takes her longer to get one compared to others. She overall has less of the side effects because she never lived with both elements.

And on that note, had Nya not turned human again there would have been a large chance that the water would see Kai as its next host instead of returning to Maya or going to someone else. That would have resulted in Kai getting weaker and getting sick again. Probably would have ended with Kai dying. No matter how strong one person can not truly handle multiple elements.
