Blaine’s breath caught in his throat for a moment as Hunter revealed the dirty secret. He cleared his throat and nodded. “Oh. Well. That must have been a sight.” He smirked and downed the shot quickly before moving to the opposite side of the bed. “So, what was the lie, then?”

Hunter grinned when he saw the look on Blaine’s face, then shrugged. “Honestly? I’ve never wanted to be an astronaut. Is that weird? Oh, but I wish I could be a fireman, or a paramedic perhaps, that could be useful, don’t you think?”

Blaine laughed and shook his head. “Okay, then… cheeky. That’s my guess. You’ve never worn pink…”

Hunter chuckled out loud. “Ooooh, you loss, Anderson. I did once. On a dare, at the academy. It was a silk, lacey pink thong. How about that?” He winked. “So now you drink.”

Blaine narrowed his eyes at Hunter and dragged his finger over the rim of his own full shot glass. “I believe you went far in military school… and every little boy once dreamed of either being an astronaut or a firefighter. So…” He paused and smirked. “Have you really never worn pink clothing?”

Hunter tilted his head and grinned. “Are you saying or asking, Blaine? You can’t have it both ways.” He chuckled and leaned back on the bed.

Blaine smirked as Hunter’s face studied him inquisitively, then he bit his lip and shrugged. “Good guess, but I’m actually terrified of sharks– and jellyfish, but that’s besides the point– and I totally was a cheerleader in high school. My dad also owned his fair share of classic cars, so I do know my way around repairs.” Blaine grinned evilly. “Drink up, my friend!”

Hunter grunted after seeing he got the answers wrong, although it was all in a playful manner, then he had a good gulp of his tequila, the burning taste pouring down his throat and making him moan just a bit. “Okay, mu turn, right?” he said as he sat up straight. “I have never… wished I was an astronaut. Or wore pink clothing. Or was made a sargeant.” He looked at him and grinned.

Hunter leaned back on his seat as he listened to the options he was given, then gave Blaine a thourough look, more like he was trying really hard to see beyond the other’s eyes themselves. He hummed for a second and smiled. “Even though you look like you have a build up that would make any of those possible. I go with the cheerleading option. You definitely were a cheerleader in high school.” He looked at him and grinned, while waiting to see if he got the answer right.

“I will, and you’ll love it. The ambiance is way better and there’s smooth folk music playing,” he said, making a mental note to bring Blaine to his favourite coffee shop next time they hung out. He laughed then. “You have plenty of time for all that now that you’re here, and I’ll help you. Either with the sights or with getting you laid,” he offered, being a good guide and wingman. It was cute that Blaine had so many aspirations in life, and he hoped he made it and fulfilled his dreams. “Uh, it’s going well. I’m starting my first residency next week. Hopefully we won’t have too many dramatic cases right off the bat, because I’d like to ease into it, but who knows?” he grinned. He loved the adrenaline that came with the job, and couldn’t wait to actually be in the field. “Dad wanted me to follow the law route, but it’s really not my thing. I’ll leave Hunter to it and I flipped the bird to my father. Figuratively speaking,” he snorted.

Sebastian nodded and put his hands in his front pockets as he followed after Blaine to get out of the campus dorms. He still couldn’t really believe that they had met up again. After High School, Sebastian thought he would never see him again. That Blaine would follow Kurt around and they’d end up married with kids by 25. Gross. Thank fuck that changed. Selfishly, he was pleased to have him in his life again. Hummel had always cockblocked them, even in the friends way, but now, it was time for a do over. 

As they entered Starbucks, Sebastian huffed. “How corporate,” he joked. He liked smaller coffee shops, but would indulge Blaine this one time. “Sounds good, I don’t mind,” he said about where they were going. As long as they hung out, he didn’t really care what they ended up doing, or where. “Isn’t that obvious? Ohio is a shit show. Especially for people like us. At least here there’s stuff to see, and people to do,” he smirked. He sipped his latte, casually strolling next to Blaine as they made their way to the destination. “Finally realized you were more of an East Coast man yourself, then?”

Sebastian shook his head at him, because he was way too perky in the morning. He smiled back though, because how could he not. “Don’t mention it,” he shrugged, and pulled his white converse on, ready to go. “Definitely coffee first. If it was an option I’d take it through the veins. A tall latte will have to do,” he walked out of his room and closed the door. “Sure. Do you want me to carry something?” he asked, holding his hand out. 

Blaine shook his head, “Oh, no. I’m good for now. I’ll need a hand when I’m shooting, though.” Blaine led him out of the dorms and to the streets below. He felt a little guilty for dragging Sebastian out of bed on his off day, but he was also excited to catch up. He never got the chance in high school to frequently hang out with Sebastian, and he was hoping there was the potential for a great friendship now that they had grown.
