“Hoode and Howle” 🐺🤖 by me (original creator) ❤️

Happy Friday, everyone and I want to share my latest painting featuring my original Sci-Fi characters who are actually based on classic fairytale characters, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. Of course, it is my favorite fairytale since I was little girl because there’s no magic—just a girl, a forest, and a dangerous creature—the realism makes the story deeply relatable and memorable, turning it into a clear cautionary tale about trust and safety rather than fantasy adventure.

So anyway, I originally created these characters back in 2023 (first drawn and then drawn again in 2024) as a brainchild idea of mine that I always wanted to create: a superhero duo where a girl reincarnated as a robot while an ordinary wolf was tragically evolved into a hulking mutant. Yes, this kind of story feels original as the robotic female becomes the protector…and the wolf becomes something worth saving.

I am very pleased with myself for painting this; I’ve been working on this since February and so this painting took me 2 months to finish. This is definitely an absolute makeover my characters truly deserves! The size of this painting is 18x24 by the way!

𓋹 𓍑 𓄤 — Ankh, wedja, seneb! That’s Ancient Egyptian for “Hello!”

Here’s my newest pencil artwork of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh statue!

I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries about Ancient Egyptian history while working on this piece, and it inspired me throughout the entire process. To achieve this realistic look, I used a combination of graphite pencils, charcoal pencils, blending pencils, blending stumps, pastel chalk, and, of course, a white acrylic marker. That’s quite a collection of art tools, but every one of them helped bring this illustration to life on paper.

This drawing took me about two weeks to complete, and I’m incredibly happy with the final result. It turned out just the way I imagined it.

Many of you have told me that this drawing looks like an actual photograph from the 1920s, and I can definitely see why! While it’s entirely hand-drawn, I love that vintage photographic feel it has. Coincidentally, archeologists in the 1920s saw some of the most famous discoveries, especially the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922.

Also, there’s a bonus WIP shot of the pharaoh before the completion. Pretty cool, huh? 😊

🎉 Today is my 32nd birthday! 🎉

To celebrate, I’d love to share my newest painting—a vibrant, colorful, and deeply personal abstract self-portrait. This is without a doubt the most creative and expressive self-portrait I’ve ever painted, and every symbol tells a piece of my story.

✨ Here’s what each symbol represents:

• The square symbols are inspired by the Louisiana Creole Flag, honoring my proud Louisiana Creole heritage that I inherited from my paternal grandmother’s side of the family.

• The red shape in the lower right corner represents the state of Nebraska, recognizing my Omaha Native American ancestry from my mother’s side.

• The black city skylines on both sides symbolize Los Angeles, California, the city where I was born. I also included the Hollywood lettering at the top as a tribute to my birthplace and my creative dreams.

• The numbers “7” and “8” represent my birth date.

• The “No AI” symbol reflects my passion for traditional, human-created artwork and my support for artists.

• The gold infinity symbol represents my place on the Autism Spectrum. While I am high-functioning, autism has always been an important part of who I am, and I’m proud to embrace it as part of my identity.

This painting is more than a portrait—it’s a visual representation of my heritage, identity, creativity, and life journey.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

As a proud natural-born American, I wanted to celebrate this historic milestone in the best way I know how—through art.

Today I’m honored to share my original pencil sketch portrait of George Washington, one of the greatest Americans in our nation’s history and the first President of the United States. While creating this portrait, I drew inspiration from Gilbert Stuart’s iconic paintings of Washington, especially the famous unfinished Athenaeum Portrait. If you look closely, you’ll definitely notice that influence. 😉

George Washington’s leadership, courage, humility, and devotion to the ideals of liberty helped shape the foundation of our country. His legacy continues to inspire generations more than two centuries later.

Creating historical portraits like this is one of my favorite ways to honor the people who helped shape our nation while celebrating the timeless beauty of traditional art.

🐶💙 Happy Fanart Friday! 💙🐶

Today is an exciting day because the new Supergirl movie is finally here! I also want to celebrate the first anniversary of 2025’s Superman, I wanted to celebrate by sharing this adorable superhero painting I’ve made.

Everyone loves Superman’s amazing cousin, but let’s be honest…Krypto the Superdog completely steals the show! 🦴⚡ He’s brave, loyal, adorable, and has some of the wildest superpowers imaginable. I have to thank James Gunn for making Krypto so lovable for a whole new generation of fans.

This acrylic canvas painting is 11x14 inches, created with acrylic paints, paint markers, and a white gel pen to capture Krypto’s fluffy fur and the bright, cloudy sky.

And if you look closely…you’ll notice Krypto is proudly carrying a little Lobo toy in his mouth. 😆 That tiny detail was too much fun to include!

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who inspire, guide, and support the next generation. To celebrate today, I want to share my latest pencil portrait featuring Jaafar alongside his beloved uncle Michael. Happy Heavenly Father’s Day to Michael Jackson, whose love for his family and legacy continues to inspire millions around the world. I was truly amazed by Jaafar’s portrayal of his uncle in his groundbreaking acting debut on the big screen. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for their hard work, dedication, and passion in honoring the life and artistry of the King of Pop.

I believe Michael would have been incredibly proud to see his nephew Jaafar carrying his legacy with such respect, talent, and heart. Seeing their connection represented on the screen has been a touching experience for so many fans including myself. This drawing was created as a tribute to their family bond, Michael’s enduring influence, and the love that connects generations.

👽✨ Happy Disclosure Day, fellow alien lovers! ✨👽

Today, Steven Spielberg’s new Sci-Fi movie Disclosure Day is officially out in theaters and I celebrate Mr. Spielberg’s new box office hit by sharing this canvas painting I painted. This painting is based on one of the well-known posters Universal Pictures shared. And by the way, I decided to get a little extra festive with my alien-themed T-shirt and earrings! 🛸💚

I’ve been a fan of Steven Spielberg’s movies since I was a kid. He’s given us some of the most beloved blockbuster adventures of all time, including Jaws, Jurassic Park, and of course, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. His films have inspired generations of moviegoers to dream bigger, explore the unknown, and believe that anything is possible.

I’m looking forward to seeing Disclosure Day because I am about to experience another Sci-Fi adventure from one of cinema’s most legendary filmmakers.

I used acrylic paint, white gel pen, acrylic markers, regular markers and colored for this painting. The size of this painting is 11x14 inches.

Bonjour! 👋😘 Here’s my updated look of my original gargoyle character: Échoe Gargouillé

On a canvas painting! The size is 24x36 inches. Yep, that’s big! This took me an entire month of May to paint this! 😄😄😄

I originally designed of an original gargoyle vigilante back in 2024 and I love the brainchild concept I came up with. I really miss her and so this is a 2-year worth of the wait! Painting her on an actual canvas and I gave her a slight redesign and she looks gorgeous!

Taking inspiration from Disney’s Gargoyles, Darkstalkers, Hellboy and Buffy the Vampire Slayer — made out of special stones, this female gargoyle is a immortal warrior originally from Medieval France 🇫🇷 🗡️as she’s mysteriously retrieved in the early years of 21st Century, where she is quickly accustomed to love for rock music! Yep, she’s like Joan Jett or Tina Turner in gargoyle form!

Échoe Gargouillé wishes there be a way for peaceful coexistence between nonhuman beings and humans alike. For that, she pursues her dream of becoming a musician to serve as a symbol of peaceful coexistence of any speciate kind.

For the painting, I used acrylic paint, oil paint, markers, and colored pencils. Oh yeah, this is a mixed media at its finest! Merci! ☺️☺️

Happy 25th anniversary to the first film that expanded a wonderful franchise: Shrek (2001) 🧅🫏🏰🧚

I want to celebrate Shrek Day today by sharing this amazing yet quite small canvas painting that looks like an actual CD album cover, lol! 🤭🤭🤭 A nice tribute to the iconic song by Smash Mouth and I still love that song by them!

I love every Shrek movie, but the first Shrek will always have a special place in my heart. 💚 It made my childhood so wonderful with its humor, heart, unforgettable characters, and the message that being different is something to celebrate.

I still admire how historic it was for winning the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film back in 2002 — such a legendary achievement for animation. 🏆

Happy Mother’s Day everyone 💙✨

To celebrate this beautiful holiday, I wanted to share my latest canvas painting of the Holy Blessed Mother in statue form. Honestly, a lot of people think it’s a real photograph at first glance, but nope — it’s completely hand-painted, haha! 🤭

Creating this piece reminded me of what Mama Mary represents to so many people around the world: unconditional love, grace, compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. I hope this artwork brings a little peace and inspiration to your day. 🤍🙏

This Easter, I wanted to celebrate in the most personal way I know how—through art. 🎨💛

This painting of Jesus is the most colorful, expressive, and heartfelt piece I’ve ever created. Every brushstroke was filled with gratitude, faith, and love. I didn’t want to paint Him in just one tone or shade—I wanted to capture the beauty, light, and life He brings into the world and into my own heart.

I wanted to share this original painting I painted to celebrate the holiday today! 🍀✨ There’s something magical about finding (or painting 🤭) a four-leaf clover—it’s a tiny reminder that beauty, hope, and a bit of luck can show up when you least expect it. What if Red Jessica from Jake and the Neverland Pirates appears in Disney’s Peter Pan movies? 😃🙌

Well, here’s what she will look like in the movies: both 1953’s Peter Pan and its 2002 sequel Return to Neverland — and she looks so beautiful!! 😍😍😍 I’d love to see her come to life in gorgeous animation for a future Peter Pan film where she’ll be the key of giving Hook 🪝 the redemptive path he totally deserves.

I can’t stop adoring this character from the classic Disney Junior show because she’s Captain Hook’s girlfriend and he becomes a massive schoolboy who loves the girl of his dreams. 💘

Anyway, her facial look is inspired by the Adult Wendy Darling (Return to Neverland) but also a little bit mixture of Belle and Giselle. James Baxter is the character designing inspiration when I drew Red Jessica! ✌️😚

This fun production drawing is basically inspired by how animators and character designers draw the specific character on a piece of paper while writing a few key notes. If you’re a big fan of animation, you’ll definitely understand how it looks and works! And happy Women’s Day!
