Also me: Camille O'Connell is the unsung hero of the originals. In her brief enounter with Klaus at the painting in 4x20 her words inspired him enough to accept the possibility of being a father. Klaus was LITERALLY running away from the possibility of it after his fight with Elijah and Elijah was unable to persuade him but Cami did so effortlessly and without realizing it. Cami voiced Klaus inner demons and fears making him realize he didn’t want to be alone anymore. Only after that conversation Klaus decides to stay in New Orleans. Without it there would be no show. Even now after death Klaus conjures up Cami’s spirit because she inspired him THAT much and only then through her words was he able to conquer his fear and free himself. Now he’s going to be reunited with Hope. Otherwise he’d remain “safe” literally shackled by his demons. Cami always caused Klaus to confront his demons headon. Without Cami there would be no klope period. None of the series would have unfolded as it did from 4x20. There’d be no show but no one ever discusses it. Fandom continues to try to discredit Cami because Klaus fell in love w/ Cami and he declared HER his soulmate instead of whatever woman they want him to be with.

you just cannot hand me a story where a woman who's been literally and metaphorically starving for years in a loveless, emotionally abusive marriage meets a man who brings her HOMEMADE biscuits every day in a pretty pink box just because he wants to be kind to her and expect me not to ship it. i'm sorry, that alone is the most romantic thing i've ever heard. that biscuit box opened the first time and it might as well have been an engagement ring box to me. in fact, better than an engagement ring box, because it has delicious biscuits inside instead of some dumb ring. i guess what i'm saying is that biscuits with the boss is more romantic than the entire human history of marriage proposals. 💗
