He really loves his job. Being able to introduce kids to the wonders of reading, helping them out to find books they enjoy; it's nothing wild, but Eddie likes to think that he's doing something good with his life by making reading fun for these kids.

Also, it's very sweet how the kids seem to love his company and how they're always seeking him out as soon as they step into the library.

This would be the perfect job, really, if not for the one guy who's always hanging out in the library but has never sat down to read a single book.

Steve.

He's always there but he never reads. Instead, he's always playing games on his phone or working on his computer and making so much noise Eddie constsntly finds himself gritting his teeth in annoyance.

Eddie's lost count of how many time he had to hiss at the guy and ask for him to be quiet, honestly. And although Steve does shut up whenever this happens, he never seems very apologetic about it.

He's an asshole, Eddie has decided.

"Oh, sure," Chrissy snorts one day, when Eddie starts complaining about having to ask Steve to be quiet three times before the man finally did it. "He's an asshole. That's why you can't stop ogling him whenever he's here."

"I don't ogle him!"

"Of course you don't."

Eddie doesn't... he just keeps a close eye in case Steve pulls some shit, but he does not ogle.

JASONNNN RAHHHH

- Was eventually trialed by governments of the world as a scapegoat and sent to prison

- She somehow BROKE out of said prison and currently commandeers a rogue paramilitary faction of Project Hail Mary loyalists who believe in her over world governments, who presumably are still hunting her down

- She currently is on the run and staying mobile on an ice breaker ship like some kind of james bond villain base (but you know, good) while STILL working on project hail mary the whole time

- Her rogue loyalist faction controlled enough resources they could go to space and collect the beetles Grace had sent. Alternatively, it was the world government that collected the beetles, and Stratt had a whole ass heist movie to steal them, which is why she had the little xenonite figure at the end of the movie. Either ways she was running circles around them.
