Throwback Thursday, darlings — a cheeky little number from the vault, 2012 to be exact: there I am, fresh-faced in my denim jacket and knickers, positively beaming with equal parts nerves and bravado. In those early Lady Bee days, the whole affair felt rather preposterous — a lark, truly, and I’d not have called myself a siren by any stretch. Or MILF or cougar, or, lord preserve us, a GILF! And yet, in this snap, bare chested and smile blazing, I could almost pass for a pin-up — albeit a slightly bemused one! The Beekeeper likened it to those saucy photos hidden behind the bag of peanuts at the local pub. Was I mortified or secretly chuffed? Oh, a bit of both. Delightfully mischievous, it’s proof that a touch of posh can still be thoroughly naughty—and I relish every minute of it.

Reflecting on my old days as a teacher and a lecturer, I learnt the importance of being clear, concise, and friendly — with a warm smile, always. That knack for explaining things simply, sprinkled with genuine warmth, has travelled with me into every job I’ve ever done. Whether I’m wrangling roses or orchestrating cheeky photoshoots, it’s all about sharing as much as you can with care, kindness, and good humour. And to illuminate and shed light on whatever subject you're sharing. Teaching taught me that a welcoming approach opens doors, and I still strive to bring that same spirit to everything I do.
