Wow Bruce you adopted Cass? Yeah, Jason knows her. Yeah, Talia dropped him off with her as part of his training tour. Yeah, they spent the weekend watching movies on Jason’s phone and got no work done.

Damian. As in, the kid Jason babysat whenever Talia was off doing league shit? That Damian?

This party is a total disaster, and Dick has a headache.

It seemed like such a good idea, in theory. He runs the concept through his mind and it still sounds wonderful. Host a housewarming party at his brand-new apartment, invite everyone he knows, introduce everyone to Jason. It was supposed to be fun. 

That was before his shiny, new, tidy apartment became a site of absolute catastrophe.

It's stronger on Gotham's soil, but graveyards everywhere try to claim him.

Every time Jason lay down be feels like he's laying on a casket. He used to have panic attacks about it, but now he's so used to it he doesn't know what is like to not feel silk on his skin everytime he falls asleep.

He also have an uncanny ability to find dead bodies. He will go to a walk and find forgotten bones. He will sit next to a river and a corpse will find its way to the shore. He goes to the beach and someone will scream bc there's a drowned body.

Some times it makes Jason happy, to know loved ones and family will have something to bury. But not most of the time.

Mostly the bodies that find him are victims from cruel crimes. Old bones forgotten. Corpses that end up in the city crematory because no one reclaimed them.

Jason tries to not think too hard about forgotten victims and invisible bodies.

Dick: Tim buried on his mother on Christmas Eve so he tends to spend the day with young justice, I think it’s a comfort thing

Anita: still can’t believe you killed Santa

Cissie: we tell you every year, we didn’t kill Santa, he died in front of us

Anita: you didn’t stop it though

Cissie: it was a comet! And not the reindeer, an asteroid with a face

Bart: I’m pretty sure it got the reindeer too though

Tim and Bernard break up but it's well after Bernard becomes friends with all of Young Justice and besties with Kon. He and Tim are still friends and he hangs out at titans tower on a regular basis.

Bernard and Kon start hanging out a lot more, getting closer and more comfortable with each other. Bernard's even getting close to Tim-level best friend for Kon (not at but pretty close). Eventually, Kon starts realizing how much he really likes hanging out with Bernard but that's normal, they're best friends. He likes touching him too, but he likes hugging Bart so there's nothing weird about that either.

But one night, the core 4 are having a movie night at tim's place and something happens. Kon and Bernard are sitting next to each other on the couch and Kon's pretty invested in the movie, it's been a while since the five of them got to hang out like this. Everything's normal until Kon feels a weight on his shoulder. It's Bernard's head. Bernard fell asleep on him. Kon freezes. Why is his heart rate speeding up? His kryptonian half starts focusing on Bernard and drowns out the rest of the world. His slowed heart rate, his soft breathing, his slightly raised body temperature.

This is definitely weird. Why is he reacting like this? He's never felt this way about boys before. Girls, sure, plenty of times. But he's straight. Kon's never been into guys (okay maybe there was that one time when he had that fever dream about Bart but that was something he would figure out later) but now he's not so sure. He dreads the movie nearing its end, and Bernard eventually leaving his side.
