anybody who says that in a modern AU caesar would be a soft pastel shy bookworm, WHERE are you getting your assumptions from?? i'm 1000% convinced he would be a punk, he definitely gives the vibe

i am not an expert on the topic of this subculture, but given the fact that caesar spent most of his youth on the streets and it's said that he was a rebellious deliquent, he definitely had a hatred for the police (his criminal record also proves my theory)

for the aspect of religion i know he's catholic, but it's never mentioned to what degree, and he sure doesn't seem to be heavily devoted

going by this logic also (that means, in my au where they both happily mess around and explore themselves with self expression (and judge eachothers music taste <3)) i am wondering what would joseph be in my modern au

he would definitely listen to a lot of rock, he would LOVE loud music and blasting it at full volume when he's home alone — maybe he would even be into metal or maybe it's me self projecting

fun hc i came up with for this au is when he was younger he wanted to impress a girl so he started wearing one (!!) spiked bracelet (shitty quality obviously, probably plastic) and his dad called him a poser and he got so scared he didn't want to mention his favourite bands/genres until he was basically interviewed to do so a few years later lmao (in this universe george ii is alive i love too much to let him just be dead </3)
