Check out our multiple products on offer such as: quartz bought in bulk from Amazon, $5 vinyl stickers of animals in cowboy hats, king cake plastic baby earrings, and up in our display case, a taxidermied bat we for sure don't have a permit for. Our brick and mortar store has no available parking or public restroom but it DOES smell so strongly of incense that you'll need to hose yourself down after exiting :) If you can't make it out to the shop, no worries! We'll be at the craft market next Saturday between the amigurumi mushrooms stall and the 3d printed fidget slugs stall

It is so ironic that I am still getting political ads about democrats wanting to “raise taxes and give the money to illegals” while the current administration is asking for unlimited money for their large-scale deportation and immigrant torture facilities. The right is still beating the “democrats are sooooo wasteful and bad with money” while we watch Donald J. Trump spend taxpayer money on everything but resources for taxpayers and spend us further and further into a hole. But they can’t get new material to fear monger with because they are conservatives. It is always ‘trans people are evil’ and ‘democrats are so wasteful’ and never ‘if you vote for us, here is now we will improve your life-’ and it’s gotten to the point where even the most ignorant and hate-filled Republican voters are becoming disillusioned. You would really think they’d start to pivot to more pragmatic talking points after the bombing the last election but they’re too stupid.

“The democrats want to give your HARD-EARNED TAX DOLLARS to ILLEGAL ALIENS! Anyway, give us one quadrillion dollars to kidnap someone’s 85 year old grandpa with dementia off the street in broad daylight.”

Obviously, being the very late 90s and 2000s, there was still plenty to go around in the way of the gender divide in kid’s toys and shows and whatnot, but also people were staring to take more issue with like performative gender roles being pushed on young girls so there was more of a market for like girl’s toys that focused on having a career and stuff. But like obviously no one was ready for the idea of just having gender neutral toys past the age of like 2 (and even then, god help you if you didn’t make a pink version of everything to assure everyone it was for GIRLS), so there was kind of a funny era where it was like “look, girls can be a Doctor or a Zookeeper or a Spy! Look at all the cool jobs you can have, even if you’re a girl!” and then all the boys toys were like “And everyone knows that boys like to be Yucky and Gross, so here’s a bunch of Nasty toys for all the boys so they can make Slime and Brains and Scary Bugs and Boogers” Like idk what the toy situation is like right now because I don’t really ever have to shop for kids, but for a long period of time there the answer to toxic gender stereotypes was just to create new gender roles where little girls got to pretend to have successful careers while little boys got to like make green slime and throw sticky rubber eyeballs at people
