Basic Clouded Thoughts

    Sooo, I’ve been eating healthier for a while now, but recently I started drinking and eating more organic foods. My boyfriend is trying to persuade me to be a vegan. lol. But anyway, I was introduced to this place called Juice Bar; the bar specializes in cold pressed and organic juices that aid in staying healthy. The juices sold at juice bar contain ingredients such as kale (promotes bone health etc.); kiwi (good for blood pressure, detoxing etc.); mint (good for nausea, memory, asthma etc.). The list goes on but I don't want to type endless amounts of words so I included a menu below that you can peek at when you're ready.

But seriously! I love this place! The atmosphere is awesome and the drinks are the best (there’s even a dance studio in the one I visit)! If there was never a better example of “vibes”, well now you have one. You honestly can’t go wrong with a place that offers green juice concoctions to benefit you. 

    The United States Department of Agriculture has a section on their website called Choose My Plate, and within that section it is stated that a lifestyle rich in vegetables and fruits can reduce risk for things such as heart disease, certain types of cancers, high blood pressure, and kidney stones.     The healthy lifestyle is definitely the way to go in my eyes. I mean who wouldn’t want to live a little longer or just even live a better and more spiritually and physically uplifting lifestyle. People everywhere will benefit from taking heed and introducing a little more clean living into their routines. 

But don't get me wrong people still want to live life and have fun-- that’s why Juice Bar promotes the 80/20 lifestyle ( basically 80% health freak and 20% go nuts and turn up-- not a quote just how I see it). Hopefully other people find out whats up with Juice Bar because its an awesome way to live.

They offer a wide variety of juice combinations and you can even create your own. The bar also offers wheatgrass, ginger and lemon wellness shots. Wheatgrass is beneficial because it contains every single mineral you could have come to mind. Ginger is an herb that acts as powerful anti-inflammatory due to it containing essential oils (gingerols) which help stop the inflammatory process. Raw lemon shots are important as an antioxidant.

All this goodness and you can have it for you and whoever else you love. 

Oh and they have smoothies too ! :)
