Don't Go Into the Woods - Calibretto

I've had a really great week, so here's one of my favorite bands from my childhood.

Calibretto started as a christian folk punk band called Calibretto 13 in 1997 from Kokomo, Indiana. While they put a few good songs during this time, for the most part it's pretty lack-luster. They dropped the 13 and the Jesus in 2003 and put out this album, Dead by Dawn, which is way better than anything they did before. 

And as far as the young me knew, that was the end of it, but while fact checking stuff for this post, I found out that all the members of Calibretto started a new band called Harley Poe, which I'm listing to for the first time as I type this, and it is really good, it shares the same kind of mood as Calibretto, but doesn't really sound the same. It kinda reminds me of Andrew Jackson Jihad, which is a good thing.
