It’s going to be in the 90s today. It’s already 85 which isn’t super bad but for whatever reason the sun feels so strong. It’s fucking cloudy dude.

Anyways. I thought I’d clean the porch so A. Summer activities and B. I could set up a beach chair and umbrella and do a “summer” photoshoot with Summer since they specifically asked me for pics

Now class. What do we think happened? That’s right. Marnie and October needed to go outside so Summer went inside and had such a mental breakdown she almost busted through a window. So where are we now class? That’s right, we’re back in our room.

I’m about to traz Summer but it doesn’t necessarily help once she realizes I’m gone. I feel so bad for her. She just needs someone that she’s allowed to follow all over and THEN she’ll start letting go and be able to be alone. I know because I’ve seen it happen with her before. If she gets a day to follow me freely all morning by lunch she’s left my side and went to find a sunny spot to nap.

Scars are what form around our emotional wounds. At first it hurts, then the thought of pain becomes habitual, then it stops coming to your mind. This is a scar - a thick tissue that has grown around the wound and does not allow it to manifest.

The person who sees through your scars is the one who recognizes your wounds, who can hack into your defenses, rouse the pain. What will they do with this knowledge? Manipulating you by addressing your lingering pain?

Tbh Cirice. When I first started listening to Ghost, I kept seeing people celebrate it so I sat down to check it out. The first several times that happened, I just couldn't get into it. From the intro, it seemed too slow and mellow (especially since the very first song I ever heard was Dance Macabre and wasn't yet aware of Ghost's versitility), just not what I wanted to hear.

I think I probably decided to watch the mv and that's what did it. Once I actually did listen to it, I understood the accolades. Now it's a deep favorite, especially that last "Inside youuuuuu" 🥴🫠🥵
