Actually, I DO think that having her be a character I hate is good because it complicates the narrative. She’s not a perfect solution to anything going on, but at least her answer isn’t “kill everyone”. Narratively, she’s interesting. A lot of the subplots would be completely eradicated if they made her a Good Person™️—Viridi’s mentions of her hypocrisy, Dark Pit’s entire shtick, etc. Honestly, they underutilized Hades in this regard.

But I do think they/we should take her apathy a bit more seriously. Not even towards Pit, but just… in general? I think the thing that broke my perspective of her is when she’s like “man I need to do better” and then we never see anything narratively that shows she’s working to better herself. She’s dismissive, hypocritical, stubborn, pharisaical; to expand from one word descriptors, she can’t take feedback (“she can dish it but she can’t take it!”), lacks regard for other’s privacy, excessively secretive to the point even Dyntos doesn’t understand her bullshit.

In a past livestream, Micheal Kovach, Ashley Nicholas, and two others (I can't find the names right now; do tell me) were laughing over the word "nega" on a shirt. I'm not sure what the context of the livestream fully is, but basically they were bordering the level of a racial slur or what the recent phrase of "I'm not touching you" racism is occurring.

The main arguments a lot are surrounding this (the ones defending them): "Nega means negative," and pulls up such things as nega-chin, eggman nega, etc. "wHy dOn'T yOu CanCel ThEm" Because the problem isn't the word itself; it's how it is used and how it's subtly pointing at obviously what they are wanting to say but not saying it directly.

"But that was [XYZ] years ago." While I believe people can change and grow for the better, that doesn't change the fact antiblack racism gets treated like a joke, actively affects us in our lives, and mocks our reactions when we rightfully call it out. They are grown adults; infantilizing them as if they can do no wrong tells me you don't care about accountability; you just care about your favorite creator getting "canceled" (realistically: called out on their behavior)

and sadly, like any toxic side of every fandom, they are going after black fans and telling them how they should react. or shouldn't react.

Whether you're a TADC fan, Hazbin Hotel fan, etc., of which some of these cast have worked in, I implore you to call these guys out in your spaces, spread awareness, and, of course, lift up black voices when we tell you something is clearly wrong.
