MONTHLY VOTES: Every month I will host a vote as to what my next pattern will be. The categories may differ (anime, video games, horror, etc.) but there will always be 5 pictures to choose from. I will create a post each month to show off the 5 options and link the voting survey. HOW TO VOTE: There will be a link to a Google Survey. Simply click on the link and vote for your favorite. Each voting period will last one week. The winner of each vote will remain a mystery until the completed pattern is posted in the week after the voting period has ended.

My grandmother passed away last month. She was the only family member who ever truly loved me unconditionally. I have not taken it very well. I feel very alone right now and am still trying to process my grief. She was always so supportive of me and my hobbies, even though we have wildly different world views and religions (tbh her religion told her to hate my very existence). She loved me, and I miss her. One of the things we bonded over was all the different art forms we loved. She was much more into quilting than cross stitch but it never stopped her from being supportive. When I went to visit family after learning of her passing I ended up going to an antique shop nearby to cheer me up before going home. I found an unstarted and intact pattern there and decided to pick it up. I've been working on it these past few weeks as a way of working through my depression and grief. It's been a slow process, due to my disabilities and old injuries my hands don't really work that well anymore (especially for something like embroidery work), but I think it's been good for me. All this to say I don't know how long it's gonna be before I start making patterns again. I'll probably post updates on this project every once and a while, mostly just for myself but also to give you guys an idea of how close I am to finishing it, but other than that I'll mostly be silent. Once I'm done I'll start back up with the usual schedule so please have patience until then. thank you for all the support you've given me up until this point, it means the world <3

Tbh I can't believe I got this out on time, I've been having health issues and I was out of commission for the last month. Very proud of myself for getting it done

It's been a while I know, but the good news is my laptop's fixed and I've got lots of fun patterns planned out for this year!

Hey guys, wanted to apologize and let you know that there won't be a vote this month. My computer's hard drive died and it's been in the shop. I will still try to finish my holiday-esque pattern if I had planned if I have enough time, though it might also be a little late I'm so sorry, but luckily things should be back on track going into the new year!

It was also brought to my attention that I should probably start including the size of my patterns since they're usually pretty big, so ima do my best to remember to add that going forward

Words are some of the most difficult things to turn into patterns, so avoid anything with quotes or writing as a part of the image unless the quote itself is the image you want (like a stylized or funny quote on a simple quote on a simple background)

In honor of my page reaching over 100 followers on Tumblr (& it's my birthday this month!), I definitely feel like celebrating lol 😁 Thank you all so much for the support, words can't express how happy I am that other people like what I'm doing. I've got some very interesting patterns planned for the future, as well as this month's vote, so stay tuned everyone!

It means a lot that people are actually liking what I do Please keep in mind tho that all these patterns are actually made from other people's artwork (it's legal through fair use) so I can't take credit for their cuteness. I'm just making all these wonderful works available as patterns because I find them cute too ^.^

Thank you so much ^.^ It's definitely hard work but since I used to do pixel art every day it was actually a pretty seamless transition for me. I love to cross-stitch, so making patterns like this was a natural evolution. I was making patterns for myself anyway since I was tired of all the free patterns being super old and boring (and almost entirely holiday themed IMO) I'm glad I decided to post them, it makes me so happy that other people can enjoy these new patterns too!
