I know Bran in the show died a long time ago and became that kind of wise old man I can't fully understand yet. But I can't help but thinking in his destiny and what would be of Bran in the books if they end like that.

Bran, the Prince of Winterfell, in the South. Away from weirdwood trees, the old gods and his family.

It hurts me the most seeing him growing old alone in that cave, with his sadness and his memories and watching how his three friends die one by one. And one can only hope it would be better, even though it feels like he'll never get out of that cave.

But somehow he'll do it, if we trust his arc in the tv show. He'll became the Three Eyed Raven? I don't know, probably. But for how long? You know, names and identities are very importante in Martin's books. Theon became Reek, Jeyne became Arya, Sansa Alayne. You know they will, eventually, become what they were, but I'm a little confused about Bran. I know the tv show is not a reliable guide, but why didn't they bring Bran back? Just sending someone to Greywatch to apologize would have been enough to prove he was back. Would book!Bran forget who he is and became a new person?

And bringing him back from the real north just to send him south? Does this little boy have any chance of living a happy life, in his home, with the ones he loves?
