NO PROBLEM!!! bao was sold as male, but when i took to the vet for regular checkup for the first time and second times (at age 3~5 months old) the doctor couldnt tell what's the genitals bc fae was so tiny + So Hairy + squirmy/scared! in that second visit the vet said she suspected bao is a girl but couldnt 100% affirm.

May 26th

get water and pellets for nighttime as routine (shes super excited)

try to grab it. sometimes he understands im trying to pick her up and avoids

put on chair with a towel

try to appease the beast with pellets - refuses bc xes so upset. fae's like -_- its pretty fuinny. it almost looks like shes sleepy, bc zir eyes arent wide anymore, sometimes even 90% closed. he doesnt fight anymore except looking out the chair for a bit but i block her

brush brush brush (the fur never stops coming out)

at some point she starts eating the pellets (which makes me happy, bc that means theyre less stressed right?)

try to check nails. im able to but bao does their best to hide...

hold the beast with hind paws on the towel, my left hand holding the upper body with its back to my chest to brush the tummy carefully - at this stage of being manhandled he gets wide eyed and as soon as theres a sign of me letting go/putting on surface xe's like PUT ME DOWN!

speedly but carefully hold bao to put on top of the castle inside the enclosure (faster than putting on the ground)
