Okay, I mean, he's fake in himself at times, like lying that he's always truly happy, even when feeling down, pushing any negative emotions away. It's just something that he started doing over time because he was sick to death of negativity around him that grated on him so much that he too felt down. So, his way of coping with anything is to just lie to himself. It's all fine. Nothing is wrong. Happy happy positive! He further lies to himself that he's awesome and so good at what he does that he will never be caught because, as long as he believes that enough, he can keep up his work and never have a single bad thought that could cause him to waver and crash.
He can also be fake around people when he needs to be, putting on the perfect mask nobody can see under, if they even know he's faking it, which 99% of the time nobody can realize. He's just that good. He would be very bad in his disguises if he couldn't make things up, lie, and wholly be somebody else when it comes down to mannerisms, speech, actions, etc. He's the perfect lie.
And with lies in general? He can spin a few things at times and has the habit of continuing the lie for as long as needed. He doesn't care to tell the truth when he doesn't have to. Strangers usually get lied to. Friends rarely, if ever, but even then there's very few people he actually trusts enough not to lie to. With a lie, he remembers who he told a lie to and what he said, and will play on it and spin an elaborate web that hardly has any holes in it. Even so, nobody tends to think of what holes there actually are because he sounds so believable, so he gets away with it all.

He tends to look the other way if someone is 'bad' or 'evil'. It's not of his concern at all unless it messes with him on a personal level, or their plans screw up his own.
