I hate to admit

I can't imagine just how much your world turned upside down with the rise of K-Pop. I feel like that genre really did blow up overnight on the western side of the world. Aw, I don't know what I would do if I had to leave Simon behind for too long. Hopefully you will get to see her soon, right?

It has been wild honestly. I'm still in awe how much it has blown up and I am forever thankful for those who came before me in getting it to become more popular. I'm hoping I do. I'll have to see if I can travel to Australia at some point to visit home to see her as well as my family. It's been a bit and a trip home would make me feel better.

It still hasn't hit me that my life has dramatically changed in the best way possible. The fact that so many people know my face and name is still very... strange? I don't think that's the right word, but I hope you understand what I mean. And people know my dog, too! Which, if you know Simon, he adores everyone he meets and loves the attention. Do you still feel like that sometimes? Not like my dog, but like you haven't grasped just how many people know of you now? @hfrpstarters

I mean I get that honestly. I feel the same way at times even if I've been an idol for quite awhile now. It's always odd that people know us from a glance and will come up to us to ask to take photos. Oh! I love that though. They know my dog as well even though she's back home in Australia and I only see her when I facetime my family. I love that he loves the attention though. I don't think I'll ever grasp how many people know me ever.

Honestly, Felix is super smart for getting a blue wig instead of dying it. I can only imagine the damage or just beating the hair must go through when being dyed such a color. Since bleach is involved and stuff, right? Alright, enough talk about hair...what have you been up to lately?

Honestly, he is. I'm not as smart in that regard, haha. Oh, it can be a lot. I haven't dyed it again in a bit and it's just been blonde right now. I mean that's why a ton of idols just stop dying their hair after awhile. I've been good. We released a new song and announced we're going on tour. So I've been excited about that. Plus then we'll have a full album coming out next month.

I'm always so interested in how the world of music works even if I'm not really one to go into that field beyond like — maybe a play or something. So, you should share with me one of the best moments you had in your career so far.

Well, glad to know you are interested at least. It's definitely a field of it's own with so many different things going on. I think it gets more confusing if you factor in everything an idol has to do as well. Hmm, I think one of my best moments has to be when our group got to do a song that basically had Deadpool and Wolverine in it. Also us winning Artist of the year this year at an award show here in Korea was nice and had a few of us teary eyed.

Glad to know you have been and I enjoyed us being water bugs together as well as spend some time bonding more. Maybe if you are ever in Australia when I am, I could show you how to surf a bit as well. That's always fun to do there. Don't think I have enough to teach you now at all, haha.

i do as well, it always interests me to see how everything works out and comes to be the amazing things we see in shows, movies and music videos. i get that, i'm content with acting but i had thoughts sometimes to explore more whether it be another career or in acting with like directing and such. oh, that's cute, i started my acting with commercials actually when i was younger. well, maybe me and you will be swimming buddies. always here to plan and do such when we have the chance.

It really is and honestly, it leaves me in awe. The behind the scenes of everything is always so cool. I only know what goes on when filming a music video. I am just as surprised when seeing the final product. I mean, I'm sure you could one day. I feel you'd do amazing in whatever you wanted to do next. Oh, really? I love that we have that in common. You went into acting though and I never did. I'd be up for that. Maybe we can spend time together on the up coming trip. That would be nice.

you and me both — easily so blown away but it all and like, i might want to go some behind the scenes work one day to learn more on that all, but for now, fine with just acting. i get that and it's nice when things change sometimes and it helps you find what really works for you. i'm hoping you do as well ! oh, same, i'm such a water bug, i'll like live in there, haha. yeah, that sounds like fun ! i'm so down for that !

Yes, I agree. I love a good behind the scenes video so I appreciate artists that show off the whole process of a piece. Gives you so much insight. I feel that. I'm content with making music but it there was ever a day I had to stop, I'd easily get into acting myself. It was something I'd be all for doing. I did do commercials before when I was little. It really does and I don't mind a little change at all. I was competitive when I would swim when I was little but honestly, if you get me near water, I'll easily just right in. Alright, we can definitely plan this. It would be a good time.

someone actually asked me if it was true that i had to sit for twenty hours to go from brunette to blonde. i have zero idea why they wouldn't believe that! everyone is always shocked at some of the lengths that we have to go to transform for a role. though now i'm fond of the blonde, and wondering do i keep it or go back to brunette? i figured that there are more extreme things, such as what jim carrey had to do to become the grinch! @hfrpstarters

Honestly, I feel that. I tend to get my hair dyed depending on the concept we are going for. Right now, I'm blonde myself and it's been nice. Most idols after a bit stop dying their hair cause it fries it so much and I'm sure I'll get to that point one day. Right now, I'm enjoying the out there colors I get to have. I say keep it if you like it. Don't need to change something you enjoy.

Have you ever thought of doing wigs? Or have you done them? I really don't know the first thing about hair coloring and how that damages your hair, but I would imagine if you're changing it for music videos and different music eras, it would damage it?

Honestly, I have before and it's something I should bring up to our stylists so my hair can breath. It can honestly. That's why after a bit, idols will let their hair rest from being dyed. Or some idols don't dye their hair at all. I know our group member Felix wore a blue wig one time instead of dying his hair.

That's pretty damn cool. Being able to enjoy it while you can is all that matters, honestly. Just a little bit of dye and hair product can truly change a person's style. It's crazy.

I couldn't agree more honestly. I love it in a way that I can experiment with different colors and not have to struggle doing it myself. It's nice to have a hair color that just goes well for a music video though then fans seem to just recognize me for the hair which you shouldn't do, haha. It is but it's pretty fun as well.

I don't mind one bit and I like trying different colors depending on the concept we are going for. Yup! It didn't last long but I enjoyed it while I had it. Feel like I've been blonde for a bit now. You should! It's out there somewhere. Yup, brown and curly when I'm not doing anything to it.

Touring with a group sounds like it could be a lot of fun or absolute hell, no in between, i think after a week in Hawaii they sick of me i won't lie but Thailand is not a place i really been to maybe i'll add that to the next trip.

It definitely can be both but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's less lonewly and we just play off each other so we'll. Haha, I get that. Definitely go to Thailand. It's such a beautiful place and the food is amazing as well. I'm sure you'd have an amazing time there.

Haha, I'm glad you think so. I like getting to work with Fendi so anything they invite me to, I always jump on board. I did a few fan meetings with my group members which was a lot of fun. Other than that, I don't have too much going on. I'd be all for coming to a show! I'd love to see you guys perform before work takes me away down the line.

Yup! I've had way too many different colors since being an idol. It can be for sure and I don't mind it. Hmm, probably when I had my hair white and the ends were dyed red. Usually I stick to just one color when getting my hair dyed so that was fun and different. I mean I get it. I haven't had brown hair for a bit so it would be weird for me.

I mean I get that. My group did a couple of fan meetings and even though I get to perform, I really wanna be on tour. Something about it is nice even if there's chao involved. An impromptu trip is nice. I mean, somewhere that's summer all the time sounds like the perfect choice. Peru would be nice to be at. Though Thailand and Hawaii stay nice all year as well plus would make good places to take a trip.
