The soprano sax solo from the Rufford Park Poacher movement from Lincolshire Posy reblog if you agree
This kid: “I arranged this cool song for a full concert band”
Me: “Wow you’re pretty talented”
This kid: “also the entire concert band is me”
HE’S ACTUALLY GOOD AT EVERY INSTRUMENT, LIKE HE’S NOT JUST HALF-ASSING EVERY INSTRUMENT, HE REALLY KNOWS ALL OF THEM
Gaubert-Berceuse (un peu plus vite)
Nausicaa medley arranged for horn, euphonium, tuba and harp!
I had so fun recording this! Look forward to more collabs between Jordan and I ;)

So I just got home after being away for 2 weeks to find that my mum has set our doorbell to play Pachelbel’s canon in D… I’m leaving right away
Double tonguing practice
I’ve just sat in bed and made tonguing noises at my computer for the last minute. I hope you’re happy.
Yesssss the calling of the flutes. You see the double tonguing and must obey… dagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagadagaaaaaaaaaaaaa
There are certainly some quality instruments on Amazon…
NO NEED TUNING 😩😂
An Eb note, a C note, and a G note walk into a bar. The barman says, “Sorry, we don’t serve minors here.”
C sends Eb a dirty look. “I told you to act natural!”
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maestro: I can't believe I'm going to say this...but just a little less viola please.
Violist: April Fool's was three days ago.
Cute idea for music lovers.

Inspired by my high school music theory teacher, who would always refer to writing inversions as “decapitating the snowman”… Happy holidays, and stay warm! :)
15 and 21 for the classical asks!
15. I am thankful for the opportunities that I get to learn all this amazing literature provided by my school and I’m super thankful for all the piccolo and solos that I got this year!
21. Funny story, actually, I was actually supposed to play bassoon! To summarize, my middle school band has a day at the beginning of the year for new band kids to try out mouth pieces to see what is suited for you, if you haven’t already picked an instrument. There was a rating scale (1-5) and I got a 5 on bassoon and a 1 on flute (basically I couldn’t make a sound and I sucked lol). I chose bassoon (not knowing what it was but I liked it) and parents said no because it was bigger than me and made me try out flute AGAIN at instrument rental night where we could get our instruments and I barely passed at getting flute and yeah! That’s my story. Also, I love bassoon as much as flute (which is a lot lol) and I put in a lot of time and effort into my flute, with an estimated 5 hours a day during the weekdays (total: 25-30hrs a week)! I like playing flute 😅
