From Kylo Ren the Space Nazi to Loki the terrorist with daddy issues to Red Hood the emotional serial killer. The redeemable qualities aren’t enough to excuse dead innocent people sometimes there aren’t any at all (ehem Kai Parker) but they look the right way it in their eyes and that’s all it takes. And you’re thinking “okay so people like bad guys” oh yes the ones not trying to woobify them will claim this. And they’ll record video essays, type up 5 pages of “meta” and then it all goes to hell when presented with a black villain.

Find a black (or select POC but typically black) villain with the EXACT same characteristics and suddenly there’s no dad to blame. Suddenly the dead people have names and numbers attached to their images. Killmonger is unhinged and unrealistic , and none of them can find sympathy for Blackfire.  Suddenly ~accountability~

Hell find heroes in these same exact stories who are black or the wrong race and they can suddenly see “Finn is creepy”, "Rose Tico is selfish and terrible”, “Rose wilson can’t use her dads abuse as an excuse!”, “Sam is at fault for Tony ordering Vision to shoot him and hitting Rhodey”, “Kory is evil for blowing up the Asylum and beating up cops”, “Bonnie is wrong for stabbing Kai even though he murders toddlers for shits and giggles”… It’s always the same story. 

The black characters never get the same amount of rope to do anything. To this day people are complaining that Kory laughed after killing the human traffickers who just tried to kill her. 

But I should believe I’m not enduring the Jason circle jerking on season 3 of Titans not because he hits all the points y’all require > white, straight, male, daddy issues but because he’s justified? Say what you actually mean

Dick brought Jericho in deeper when they agreed to cut ties and to leave him out. Dick said he wouldn’t show up during Jericho’s meeting with his dad and still did anyways after telling the other titans he’d meet them back at the tower. Dick took on Deathstroke alone and Jericho was(seemingly) killed. Dick was at fault.

Y’all: “it’s Dick’s fault”

I want to thank everyone who nominated , I believe there was 100. I would also like to thank everyone who stuck with me on this journey. This will be my last full length novel but who knows in the future I may write a.short story or two.

Bon is having a tough time getting over her losses and isn’t meeting anyone who trips her trigger, but wants to have a baby to carry on the Bennett legacy, and Damon (now that he’s human) offers to help her out, and in the process fall in love…or probably saying “they realize they were already in love with each other, but just couldn’t admit it…‘cause Elena” would be a better way for it to come about. 

If anyone wants to write this, I, and a few other people who have said they totally want it, would be eternally grateful!

10. Damon and Bonnie are just a better love story. They should have been canon, or on their way to canon, about 3 years ago. And that’s just the truth. I don’t even have to justify this post; that ship writes/sails itself. All you have to do is look at their scenes, you don’t even need words, their body language is enough.
