Hello! So some complicated stuff has come up and Iâm going to have to take a hiatus for a while, hopefully everything will turn out fine Iâm feeling positive but I wonât know for a while yet.
My apologies for vanishing but I hope everyone has lots of Witcher fun times and my friends are members on this account and have the password so Iâve asked them to reblog cool Witcher stuff whenever they feel like it.
Why did I stop posting about blood origin you ask. Well guess who had a fever of ďżź40.5 C (104.8 F)
But itâs good now the fever is going down but goddamn. Not fun.
Update on this: fever continued and other symptoms worsened and I had to zoom to the hospital. Illness is so fun.
I can't believe that Istredd has been only tangentially involved in the main plot but has still figured out more than anybody else, can you imagine his power if he talked to more than one main character once per season

About Blood Origin: I don't get why people hate on it, I really don't. Granted, I only watched the first episode so far, but that's because it just didn't catch my interest... that doesn't make it bad tho? Everyone has different interest and stuff that appeals to them
Just for reference tho (I trust your judgement on this) do you think I should finish watching it? I'm undecided...

I would say that the whole series is worth the watch if youâve started the first episode, largely because itâs super short as a 4 episode miniseries and only takes 3.5 hours to watch the whole thing.
My favorite part of the show had to be Eile and Fjall and episode 3 is when they really start getting hot and heavy and their relationship grows a lot. I also think youâll be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you will get attached to the Seven (the main bands of heroes) and I think episode 3 really is their penultimate episode for that.
It was also a cool finale with lots of interesting visual effects.
And if you get to the end of the show u get to hear the latest Jaskier hit single hehe
Okay so from the vibes I am getting while the rest of the internet seems to be trying to find every reason to hate on Blood Origin most of tumblr seems to have genuinely enjoyed. Does that seem about right?

The Witcher: Blood Origin is incredible btw Iâm having the absolute time of my life. Every character they introduce is just so endlessly fascinating, the costumes are so fun and interesting and the SCENERY. Holy fuck the scenery. Itâs all so beautiful

That is how I felt when I realized I could no longer count on you to fulfill my mission.
Just a quick note, Iâve been in the Witcher fandom since before the show came out. And unless you were here before Netflix, then you wonât understand that the fandom was almost entirely white. I donât think I saw more than one or two OCs that were people of color and none of the characters were. It was the whitest fandom I was in and the lack of diversity was a big reason why I wasnât more active in it. And itâs just been kind of amazing to see the fandom go from that to having a black female lead in Blood Origin that people can be genuinely into and create content about. I think that many of us simply would not recognize the pre-Netflix Witcher fandom. ďżź
