Many of you are familiar with The Mountain View Mausoleum, which serves both as the original Ministry building in the chapter videos and as the background venue for various music videos like "Call Me Little Sunshine" and Ozzy Osbourne's "Life Won't Wait".

Following the Fires of Eaton, several of the stained glass windows sustained damage. If not repaired in a timely manner, the damage could be irreparable. That's where we, the community come in!

Sometimes the sketches I create for my Ko-Fi subscribers lead to larger projects, such as this painting. Initially inspired by the painting "Death as General Rides a Horse on a Battlefield" by Edgar Bundy, I gradually moved away from the original reference as I progressed, particularly in terms of the setting. There are many paintings depicting snowy landscapes that I love immensely, and which inspired me for this illustration. To name just a few, there were, for example: “Walkenried Abbey Ruins in Snow” and “Ruined cathedrals and monasteries” by Carl Hasenpflug for exemple.

I experimented quite a bit and, in the end, it was the aesthetic rather than the story to be told that guided my choices. That happens sometimes.
