landon lifted his shoulders up in a shrug, “anywhere. my face, maybe? do you think it would look cool there?”

she grinned and nodded, “hell yeah,” she said with a grin. “it’ll look really cool there, i love it.”

“what? no.” jasper lied as he shook his head, a shy smile on his face. he didn’t want to talk too much about girls with his sister. “i am. it’s pretty cool. i’m not gonna lie. do you like it here?”

she laughed, noticing how uncomfortable he was with a smile. she nodded, “i mean, i do-- i’m still getting used to it all. but you know how much i’ve always liked horror stuff.”

“That would be really cool. I think it’s the perfect place, might be easy to make up some story for it being there,” he smiled and slipped his shirt off so she would have access to his skin. “it’s a weird feeling you know? Feeling like you don’t fit in with your own family.”

“oh, zombie makeup would be perfect. i’ll run that by the other managers, maybe we can do one of the rotating rooms with zombies.” riley grinned, now that she had been close to bambi for longer, she was starting to get used to the scar.

bambi’s dark eyes seemed to light up at the mention that they could have a zombie room. it was worth admitting that she was obsessed with zombie makeup and how real or messed up she could make it look. “oh, my god. i would love that. i love zombie makeup.”

“i mean, to be fair, we all signed up for this. i’m in hospitality though so seeing all of this isn’t my usual day. i’m pretty separate but i have to say, it’s pretty cool. now that i’m not so surprised to see it just appear in front of me, it looks sick.”

she shrugged her shoulders, “well, it’s definitely good to hear that i’m doing a good job of my job,” she said with a little laugh. “so thanks.”

“Let’s go with somewhere subtle, I think that would make it a little more believable.” He smiled with a small shrug of his shoulders, “I don’t know with Lola. Things are weird, I don’t feel like I belong but at the same time I want to be a good brother to her.”

“oh, don’t even worry about it.” riley waved the concern off. it was her own fault that she had decided to accept a job managing a haunted house. “it is really good. perfect. you’re going to make a lot of people freak out with that. it looks…contagious somehow?”

she laughed, “i like the idea of it being contagious, i think it’d work well for like... maybe say zombie makeup or something like that?” she suggested, obviously excited by it.

“Yeah, yeah, that’s exactly it,” He nodded, giving a small smile before looking at her again once her made up arm was out of view. “You’re welcome. Like I said, it’s great - but I could live the rest of my life never seeing that ever again.”

“what do you do here?” she asked curiously. it was her own fault for forgetting all the time that not everyone here was as into horror stuff as bambi herself was.

“Oh my god,” Becca started, taking a step back before leaning back in. “That looks so gross. I thought you needed to go to the hospital for a second.” She’d been having moments like that all week. Getting used to gore and disgusting makeup was taking longer than she would have hoped. “No, no I think it looks perfect.”

bambi smiled, “i’m really sorry,” she said quickly, “i keep forgetting that people here might be scared of this kind of stuff...” she admitted, “but it’s totally my fault, i shouldn’t just go around, like, showing people this.”

“   if   you   don’t   know   what   i’m   talking   about   .   ”   barbie   paused   ,   head   tilted   as   she   folded   arms   against   chest   .   “   then   how   did   you   know   i   was   talking   to   you   at   all   .   could   of   been   talking   to   jiminy   cricket   .   ” 

she frowned, “because i thought you were... looking at me.” she explained slowly, unsure of what was really going on. if she wasn’t the one being addressed, that was fine, but she had thought she was.

“hard pass.” jasper replied to his twin sister as he shook his head. “halloween makeup takes forever to get off and the last thing i need to do it walk around here with it on my face for no reason.” he replied, laughing softly. “i’m good though. been busy building props and everything. i swear we only see each other in passing.” he chuckled.

she grinned, “what, are you worried you won’t be able to meet girls if i paint something gross on your face?” she asked with a bright grin pulling onto her lips. “so you’re enjoying it here then?” she asked.

landon nodded in agreement and then poked his tongue out to wet his lips. “i do.” he paused for a moment and lifted his shoulders up in a shrug. “i’m an actor. you can recreate it on me.”

the brunette flashed a grin at the man in front of her, nodding her head, “awesome. where do you want me to recreate it on you?”

“That would be awesome. Make is as bloody as you can while still keeping it looking so realistic,” he had to admit he was excited. He rarely got to get scars and stuff put on him, usually he was just looking at them to make sure they looked good. “Her and I are complete opposites. You’d think we came from different families sometimes.”

“   woah   ,   woah   ,   WOAH   !!   ”   ginger   tresses   slash   against   pale   cheeks   as   if   a   whip   ,   there’s   a   loud   popping   noise   ,   neck   cracking   as   head   turns   fast   enough   to   give   someone   whiplash   ,   however   she’s   more   worried   about   fingers   hovering   over   her   things   .   “   are   those   yours?   no   ,   so   no   touchy   !!”

“uh... i don’t know what you’re talking about,” the brunette admitted, “i wasn’t going to take something that belonged to you.” she said with a slight frown.

“Never too gory,” Blue smiled. “I think it looks great.” Blue was genuinely impressed, a tough feat. Not that Blue was particularly picky but he always felt that most makeup artists held back. “You could try it on me, if you’d like? I always like trying stuff on other people before I try it on an actor, just to get more perspective.”

bambi’s dark eyes lit up and she nodded her head quickly, “that’d be awesome, actually, thank you.” she told him brightly. “any preference on where you’d want me to try it?” she said, knowing some people could have struggles getting it off.
