is it wrong of me to think that people who are afraid to bring their dolls in public must be very socially awkward? I bring my dolls out all the time for photos and meets and its never been a problem.

It depends a lot on where you live my friend. People in big cities can get away with almost anything without consequence. If you live in a smaller town on the other hand, especially if it’s a socially conservative town, there’s a bigger chance that you get noticed and looked down at. Some places you might even have to deal with harassment if you’re an adult that lugs around a doll, especially if you’re a man.
