Why every dive is different
One of the reasons I never get tired of diving is that no two dives are exactly the same.
You can visit the same reef, enter at the same spot, and follow a similar route, yet the experience will be completely different. The visibility changes, fish move to new areas, and unexpected marine life appears when you least expect it.
That unpredictability is part of the appeal.
Some days, the highlight is a large turtle cruising past. On others, it’s a tiny nudibranch hiding on a coral branch. You never really know what the ocean will decide to show you.
While reading about different dive locations around the island, I found this guide to scuba diving in Bali, which explains why the variety of dive sites keeps divers coming back year after year.
That’s the beauty of diving: every descent is a new adventure.
