What Open Water training really feels like
Before my first Open Water course, I thought diving was mainly about exploring reefs.
It’s actually about learning to stay calm underwater.
At first, everything feels new — equipment, breathing, buoyancy. But dive by dive, it starts to feel natural. Movements slow down, breathing becomes steady, and confidence builds quietly.
Later, when I wanted to understand how this first step into diving is structured locally, I came across this Open Water Course in Bali, which explained the process clearly.
It reminded me how important that first certification really is.
