The joy of finding something unexpected underwater
Not every great dive includes a manta ray, turtle, or large school of fish.
Sometimes, the highlight is a creature you almost missed.
A tiny frogfish hidden on a sponge. A well-camouflaged scorpionfish resting on the reef. A shrimp no bigger than a fingernail. These small discoveries often become the moments divers remember most.
That’s one reason I enjoy slow dives. Instead of covering a lot of distance, you spend more time looking carefully and noticing details that are easy to overlook.
Bali has several locations known for this style of diving. While researching some of the local sites, I came across this guide about diving in Amed, where patient divers often find fascinating macro life hiding in plain sight.
The ocean rewards curiosity more than speed.
Biz biraz kendimize şampiyon olduk 💚❤️
