Repost from @hathavidya using @RepostRegramApp - Join @HealinIrie (Candace Taylor) January 7-10 for the "Sacred Nourishment Yoga & Cooking Retreat" Start off this New Year immersed in devotional practices dedicated to sustainably cultivating your highest and most vibrant self! Nestled in a beautifully restored, 200 year old farmhouse in the countryside of Maine, experience a weekend steeped in ancient Ayurvedic practices and simple ancestral cooking. To be our fullest and most vibrant selves in this world we must holistically support our bodies. However, in this day and age with so much conflicting information out there about what is good for our bodies and what is not it can be hard to distinguish truth from fad. Couple that with living in a culture that celebrates being constantly busy and digitally plugged in, sun up to sun down, its no wonder why folks struggle to sustain the practices that support our bodies wholeness. It doesn't have to be so hard. You shouldn’t need a degree in biological science or nutrition to be able to nourish yourself. And we should not feel guilty for prioritizing our wellness over our email. We are each sacred vessels dwelling on sacred land. All beings and the Earth that holds and supports us are divinely remarkable. Nourishing the body is directly connected to nourishing the land. Our individual balance, wholeness and vitality is connected to our Earths wholeness, balance and vitality. Cultivating this relationship within our bodies and with our environment takes devotion to our sacredness and is essential to our individual and collective healing.
