On this similar note, one of my problems with lots of the “what if Shiva was actually Jason’s mom” AUS is that… to be frank? She would not give a damn.

The reason Shiva cares about Cassandra (And yes, I think it's pretty clear that Shiva does care about Cass in a way, even if that way isn't traditional because these two enjoy fighting more than talking) isn’t because of “traditional maternal instincts” it’s because of her worth as a fighter and the complicated cocktail of emotions that stir around Shiva regarding her sister and how Cass came to be.

Jason has none of that “baggage” or link to the past, so. Yeah, she would not care. Also. He's not on her list of interesting people, but that's just me.
