While in the city Bailee was hospitalized two different times and those weeks in the psychiatric hospital made her open her eyes and realize things she hadn’t been able to see before. She talked about her problems, got the help she needed, found medication that everybody agreed was helping and she had a plan on how to change her life. First was Talon and if she was going to make things up she couldn’t wait any longer. 

Talon and Bailee had always been close, their relationship to others was perfect... to them it was a little bit rocky but Bailee loved Talon with all her heart and never meant to break his heart. She didn’t realize what she had done until it was too late and in the city. School was always first to her, and working as a model. She needed enough money to live in new york and modeling was something she always was interested in. 

Now that her modeling agency contact had ended and she graduated she decided to move back home and open up a cute boutique store. She knew that Ashcroft didn’t have anything like it and that it might do well downtown which she had gotten her studio at. “How about you show me around downtown, everything’s changed. They even added a tattoo shop.“ She said sarcastically. “I’m definitely ready for lunch, is there somebody else that works at the shop?” It was really good to see Talon, she had needed to see him. Her heart was in knots and she was anxious but the feelings for Talon came flooding back, she tried to hide it but it was hard not to. She didn’t want to change too many things in Talons life.

🌊 a sad text.

⚡ an angry text. 

The feelings came back, and she couldn't help but remember everything she had done to him. She was sorry and wished she had made things right sooner. But she was scared to reach out randomly after all these years. But there she was standing in his dream place where he had brought Ella to. Bailee couldn't imagine just how much Ella loved Talon and thought he was the best father ever. Because he was, Bailee left him to raise THEIR daughter. She just wasn't physically and mentally ready to be a mother. Talon had to step up to the plate, and him becoming sober and working on his addiction she never felt prouder of him. 

"I'm proud of you Talon, i really am." She smiled and brushed some hair behind her ears. "Do you think maybe you can forgive me and consider having me in you and Ella's life. I came back for good, i bought a shop down the street that was for sale. I am going to turn it into a boutique and we can be neighbors. I know this is  very hard on you Talon, because i left you and that couldn't of been easy for you. I don't want you have to do everything on your own."

She loved how much Talon had supprotived and respected him for always believing in her. He was always there for her and she loved him for that. He wasn't a bad boyfriend or person. He was a sweet guy who made the best dad. She never doubted that he wouldn't make one, with or without his addiction. She was glad he had Ella to take care of to give him purpose. Something Bailee didn't think she could give Talon at the time.

Bailee wanted more than anything for Talon to forgive him, because she regretted a lot of things. She didn't want him to regret letting him in their lives because she wanted to prove it. She needed something to focus on, something in her life had always been kind of missing without having Talon in her life.

She smiled when he took her hand. She closed her eyes and sighed, she knew she had believed her. "I really would love to come for dinner, i am free tonight. Or maybe this weekend?" She squeezed his hands lightly before lifting them up. “Do you think you could take Ella out of school for the day so we can take her to the beach? Or is that too soon?”

Talon had always been a great father, she never doubted that he couldn't do it. She had faith in him, and respected him for wanting to keep her. She wanted to deep down but wasn't ready, she should of stayed. A part of her wishes she did, but the other half needed this time to think and get better and figure out what was important. All those things weren't in the city, they were home. Where she should be, raising her daugther. Taking her to her appointments, going to school parties and events and taking her places. But instead she thought her letters and gifts were enough. She wasn't sure how to be a mother, her mother wasn't a very good example. It was always her dad who got her through tough times, now that he has passed away she felt like a part of her died and couldn't stay back in ashcroft. Her dad was one of the only people who wasn't disapointed in her for getting pregnant, he was there during the whole thing. He liked Talon and always told her to keep him around, secretly she wanted to... but when he became addicted to drugs is when Bailee and Talon's relationship started to become complicated.

Bailee knew about his drug addiction from high school, she had to see him high most of the time. He wasn't the same when he was on drugs, not the person she fell in love with. She hated him for being addicted, she never wanted Talon to go down this path. It scared her and she hardly addressed it, she just wanted to make sure he was safe and okay. He made her feel safe and she never had to worry. Talon would be there, and she stuck around for a couple years until things started to get worse with his drug addiction. She didn't know how she would raise a daugther in a house with an addict. It was the most selfish thing Bailee had thought, but it was too much. She couldn't imagine what he had to go through and did for Ella every day. It must of been hard, just like it was hard to be away from the two.

She hadn't told anybody she was back home yet, talon was her first stop. She wasnt close to her mother that much, ever since her father died things in the family have been weird. She barely talks to her siblings, she cut them out as well. She knew why she had came back and wanted to make it clear to Talon why she was really here. Why she came back. "I don't blame you. I know it has been, i own a watch. I wrote back every single time you sent letters... i just didn't send them in the mail." 

She ran her hand through her hair and tried not to cry. "I left you and im sorry for that. I... I didn't know you had went to rehab." She said pausing for a couple seconds and smiled softly to herself, proud that he had gone and hoped he was clean. She wasn't going to bring that up because it was still a sensitive topic to the two of them. Always ended in an argument and she didn't want that. "I came back to make things right, because new york wasn't really what i wanted... or expected. I'm sorry i left you alone with all these responsiblies... i was scared." She shrugged both shoulders, wishing she could slip out the front doors but now that she had signed a year lease she couldnt go anywhere if she tried. “But i don’t regret anything.. everything i did in new york and the jobs i had. I don’t regret doing those things.. i regret not being able to be a good mom... and girlfriend. I failed you... and Ella. Does she even know she has a mom that loves her?” She asked him knowing the answer already. There was no way talon could raise Ella and not say nothing but nice things and have her back. Ella needed somebody like Talon to raise her... not her. She doubted everything about being a mom.
