This is what's so fucked up about "nothing that requires the labor of others is a human right".
The labor is already being done under capitalism. The laborers are already being underpaid under capitalism.
When you propose removing the greedy profiteers and paying the workers a reasonable wage, people call that "slavery" while they have no problem with the current system.

Antinous leaned back in his chair, a mischievous glint in his eye as he whispered to Y/N. âAlright, kid. Hereâs the plan. You take this bucketââ he held up a small bucket filled with water, balanced precariously on the edge of a slightly open door, ââand when Telemachus walks in, boom. Instant shower.â
She giggled, covering her mouth to stifle the sound. âHeâs going to be so mad!â
âThatâs the idea,â Antinous replied with a smirk, ruffling her hair. âBut remember, you have to act innocent afterward. Real wide eyes, maybe even throw in some fake tears if he gets too angry. You know, your specialty.â
She stuck out her tongue playfully but nodded, determined. âGot it.â
The two hid behind a pillar, peeking out as Telemachus approached the door. He was muttering to himself, likely about some book or strategy, completely unaware of the trap set for him. As soon as he pushed the door open, the bucket tipped, dumping the cold water directly onto his head. Telemachus froze, his hair plastered to his face, water dripping down his tunic.
She clamped a hand over her mouth to keep from laughing too loudly, while Antinous bit down on his knuckle, his shoulders shaking with silent amusement. âWhat in the name of the godsââ Telemachus sputtered, wiping water from his eyes.
She finally stepped out, her best innocent expression plastered on her face. âOh no, Telemachus! Are you okay?â she asked, her voice dripping with fake concern.
Telemachus glared at her, then at the still-dripping bucket on the floor. âY/N,â he said slowly, âwas this your doing?â
She shook her head furiously, her eyes wide. âMe? No way! I would never do something like that!â
Antinous, still hiding, nearly lost it when he saw Telemachus narrow his eyes at her, clearly not buying it but unable to prove anything. âYouâre lucky I canât prove it,â Telemachus muttered, stepping over the bucket with as much dignity as he could muster. As soon as he was out of earshot, Antinous and his sister burst into laughter, clutching their sides.
âThat was perfect!â Antinous said, wiping a tear from his eye. âI knew you had it in you.â
She grinned, her chest puffed out with pride. âCan we do it again?â
Antinous chuckled. âLetâs give it a day or two. Gotta keep him on his toes.â
ââ
The palace halls were dark and silent, save for the occasional flash of lightning illuminating the walls and the low rumble of thunder that followed. Y/N clutched her doll tightly to her chest, her small frame trembling with every loud crash. She had tried to stay in her own bed, but the storm was too much. She needed Antinous. She padded softly to his room, her bare feet cold against the stone floor. Reaching his door, she hesitated for only a moment before knocking gently. âAntinous?â she called out in a small voice. No answer.
She frowned and tried again. âAntinous, are you there?â Still nothing. Carefully, she pushed the door open and peeked inside, only to find the room empty. The bed was messily made, and his belongings were untouched. A pang of panic bubbled in her chest. Where could he be? Another deafening clap of thunder made her jump, and she whimpered softly. Left with no other choice, she turned and headed down the hall toward Eurymachusâs room.
Standing outside his door, she hesitated. Eurymachus wasnât exactly⊠comforting, but she didnât want to be alone. Summoning her courage, she knocked lightly. The door creaked open after a moment, and a very sleepy, disheveled Eurymachus appeared, his hair sticking up in all directions. He squinted at her. âY/N? What in Hades are you doing here? Itâs the middle of the night.â
âThereâs a storm,â she said, her voice trembling. She hugged her doll tighter. âAntinous isnât in his room. IâI donât want to be alone.â
Eurymachus blinked, clearly caught off guard. He scratched the back of his head and sighed. âAlright, alright, come in,â he mumbled, stepping aside to let her in. She shuffled into the room and climbed onto the edge of his bed, curling up with her doll. Eurymachus shut the door and rubbed his face, muttering something about how he wasnât equipped to deal with scared kids. He sat on the bed beside her, awkwardly patting her back.
âThere, there,â he said, clearly unsure of what else to do. âItâs just some loud noises. Nothing to be afraid of.â
âBut itâs so loud,â she whispered, her voice shaking.
Eurymachus sighed, lying back on the bed and resting his hands behind his head. âI hate thisâŠwhatever, you can stay here. But donât hog the blanket.â She nodded, her fear easing slightly as she laid down beside him. She still flinched at the thunder, but somehow, knowing she wasnât alone made it a little less scary.
As she drifted off to sleep, Eurymachus stared at the ceiling, muttering to himself. âAntinous owes me for this,â he said quietly, shaking his head.
ââ
Y/N woke up in Eurymachusâs bed, her face pale and her breathing shallow. She didnât understand what was happeningâthere was blood on the sheets, and panic settled in her chest. Eurymachus, still half asleep, groaned and turned over, completely unaware of the situation. She tugged on his sleeve, her voice trembling. âEury⊠somethingâs wrong with me. Iâm⊠Iâm bleeding.â
Eurymachus cracked one eye open and looked at her, his brows knitting together. He sat up, yawning. âBleeding? What do you meanââ His eyes fell on the stained sheets, and he froze. Before Eurymachus could even process what was happening, the door slammed open, and Antinous stormed in, looking ready to drag Y/N back to her room.
âWhy is she in your bed?â Antinous demanded, his voice sharp. But then his gaze landed on the blood, and his expression twisted into something far darker. âWhat the Hades is this?â
Eurymachus immediately raised his hands in defense. âWait, wait, wait! This is not what it looks like!â
âSheâs bleeding!â Antinous bellowed, stepping forward and grabbing Eurymachus by the collar. âWhat did you do to her?â
Y/N, still overwhelmed and not understanding why her body was betraying her, burst into tears. âAntinous, stop! He didnât do anything!â Antinous froze, glancing down at Pandora as she sobbed. Eurymachus took the opportunity to slip from his grasp and put some distance between them.
âCalm down!â Eurymachus hissed, brushing himself off. âYour sister just got her first period. Thatâs all!â
âHer period, you idiot!â Eurymachus shouted, exasperated. âYou know, that thing girls deal with every month? Sheâs not dying, and I didnât do anything to her!â
Antinous stood there for a moment, processing this new and horrifying information. He looked down at Y/N, who was sniffling and wiping her tears. His anger deflated, replaced by a mixture of awkwardness and concern.
ââŠOh.â He rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks reddening slightly. âI didnât⊠I didnât know.â
Eurymachus crossed his arms and smirked. âYeah, no kidding. Now that weâve cleared that up, maybe you can stop trying to kill me every time something happens.â
Antinous ignored him and crouched down to her level, his tone softening. âY/N, why didnât you come to me?â
âYou werenât in your room,â she mumbled, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Antinous sighed and gently patted her head. âItâs okay. Come on, letâs get you cleaned up. Eurymachus clearly isnât equipped to handle this.â
Eurymachus scoffed. âLike you are?â
Antinous shot him a glare before carefully guiding his sister out of the room. As they left, she glanced back and stuck her tongue out at Eurymachus, who just rolled his eyes.
âNext time, donât wake me up for this,â he muttered to himself, flopping back into bed.
ââ
Y/N, having been left to her own devices after both Antinous and Eurymachus wandered off to attend to their own matters, decided to explore. With no one keeping an eye on her, she wandered into the main hall where the suitors were lounging around, drinking, and loudly boasting about their supposed feats of strength and charm. As soon as she entered, her wide eyes scanned the chaotic scene. She wasnât nervousâif anything, she was curious about what the suitors were always up to when Antinous wasnât around to glare them into submission.
One of the suitors, a burly man named Melanthius, noticed her first. âWell, look who it is! The little sister of our great leader.â
âAntinous left you all alone, huh?â another suitor chimed in, his tone teasing.
She placed her hands on her hips and puffed out her chest. âI can take care of myself! Iâm not scared of you lot!â The suitors erupted in laughter at her boldness. âNot scared, huh? Alright, little one, letâs see what youâre made of!â
Before she knew it, one of them had lifted her off the ground and spun her around, eliciting a surprised squeal from her. Another suitor playfully ruffled her hair, while yet another poked at her sides to make her squirm.
âHey! Put me down!â She protested, but her giggles betrayed her.
The suitors, amused by her small stature and feisty attitude, continued to roughhouse with herâlifting her onto their shoulders, tossing her lightly between them, and making silly faces to get her to laugh. They werenât being mean, but they were definitely a bit too rowdy for someone as small as Y/N. One of them handed her a goblet of wine. âHere, kid, have a sip. Itâll make you braver!â
She sniffed it suspiciously and made a face. âThat smells gross!â
âAtta girl,â another suitor said, laughing as he took the goblet back. Just as the playful chaos reached its peak, the doors to the hall burst open, and in strode Antinous and Eurymachus.
Antinous took one look at the sceneâhis sister perched precariously on Melanthiusâs shoulders, her hair a mess, and the suitors all grinning like mischievous childrenâand his face darkened like a storm cloud.
âWhat,â he bellowed, his voice echoing through the hall, âis going on hereâŠ?â
The suitors immediately froze, Melanthius nearly dropping Y/N in his panic. Eurymachus, standing beside Antinous, stifled a laugh. âLooks like your little sister found herself some new babysitters.â
Antinous stormed over, snatching her off Melanthiusâs shoulders and setting her on the ground. âY/N, what are you doing here?!â
âI was bored!â she huffed, crossing her arms. âYou and Eury left me alone, so I came here!â
Antinous glared at the suitors, who were all trying to look innocent. âIf I see any of you roughhousing with her again, Iâll personally throw you out of this palace!â
The suitors nodded quickly, murmuring apologies. Eurymachus, still amused, leaned against a pillar and smirked. âYou know, she seemed to be having a great time until you showed up.â
Antinous shot him a warning look before turning to her. He crouched down to her level, his tone softening. âYou canât just wander off like that, Y/N. These idiots donât know how to handle a kid.â
She pouted but nodded. âOkay⊠I wonât do it again.â
âGood,â Antinous said, ruffling her hair. He stood up and shot one last glare at the suitors before scooping her up in his arms. âLetâs go. Youâre staying where I can see you.â
As they left, Eurymachus lingered for a moment, shaking his head at the suitors. âYou lot are lucky he didnât kill you. Try not to traumatize the kid next time.â With that, he followed Antinous and Y/N out of the hall, leaving the suitors to exchange sheepish glances and mutter about how terrifying Antinous could be when it came to his sister.
ââ
Y/N squirmed furiously, her small hands tugging at the leather strap fastened securely around her waist. âAntinous! This is embarrassing! Let me go!â
Antinous, towering over her with an exasperated expression, held the other end of the leash firmly. âNot a chance, Y/N. Youâre not running off into trouble again. I refuse to let you cause another headache.â
She stomped her foot, her face red with indignation. âIâm not a dog, Antinous!â
From the corner of the room, Eurymachus and Melanthius stood watching the scene unfold, both strugglingâand failingâto contain their laughter. Eurymachus had one hand over his mouth, his shoulders shaking, while Melanthius clutched his stomach, his booming laugh echoing through the room. âYouâve outdone yourself this time, Antinous,â Eurymachus said, finally gasping for air. âA leash? On your own sister? Gods, this is priceless.â
Antinous shot him a glare, his patience wearing thin. âShe ran off into the main hall last time and nearly got herself killed by you lot roughhousing with her. Iâm not taking any chances.â
Melanthius wiped a tear from his eye. âYou do realize sheâs going to hate you for this, right? Sheâs practically plotting her revenge already.â
Y/N, still tugging at the leash, turned her big, pleading eyes to Melanthius. âHelp me! This is cruel and unusual punishment!â
But Melanthius just laughed harder. âSorry, kid. Iâm not getting in the middle of this one. Youâre on your own.â
Eurymachus smirked and crossed his arms. âHonestly, Antinous, why stop at the leash? You should get her one of those bells so you can hear her coming.â
She groaned in frustration, sitting down on the floor with a dramatic huff. âI hate you all!â
Antinous rolled his eyes, ignoring the jeers from his companions. He crouched down to her level, his voice softening. âThis is for your own good, sister. I wouldnât have to do this if you didnât keep wandering off into trouble.â
She pouted, crossing her arms. âI wasnât wandering off. I was exploring!â
âExploring,â Antinous repeated, raising an eyebrow. âRight. You can explore the courtyard. On a leash.â
Eurymachus doubled over in laughter again, and Melanthius had to lean against a wall for support. âI canâtâthis is too good!â Eurymachus wheezed.
Antinous stood, dragging her to her feet as she whined and tried to wriggle free. âLaugh all you want, you two,â he said, his tone sharp. âBut if she gets into trouble again, Iâm making you responsible.â
Eurymachus waved a hand dismissively, still grinning. âFine. But donât expect me to take her on a leash. Thatâs all you, big brother.â
She shot a glare at Antinous, her cheeks puffed out in frustration. âJust wait until I tell Penelope about this. Sheâll side with me!â Antinous sighed, already regretting his decision, while Eurymachus and Melanthius burst into another fit of laughter. It was going to be a long day.

âYou need to help me.â
You shut Telemachusâs door behind you, strutting farther in without knocking.Â
âGods!â Your brother cried, jumping out of his seat in surprise. Youâd approached silently, not making a sound as you had entered his room. Now, you stood right in front of him; heâd leaped out of his chair and whirled around to face you. His shoulders relaxed as he saw that it was only you. âYou really need to stop doing that, Y/N.â
You placed your hands on your hips sassily as you smirked. âMake me,â you challenged.
Telemachusâs lips twitched up in a smile. âOh, itâs on!â
He lunged at you, arms out to tackle you in a hug, but you sidestepped, giggling. His room was huge, so you had a lot of space to dodge your brotherâs advances. Telemachus grabbed your wrist, but you latched onto his forearm with your other hand. With what seemed like practiced grace, you judo-flipped him, ending up on his stomach with your knee in his chest.Â
âMercy!â Your brother teased. âLet me up, Y/N!âÂ
You tapped your finger to your chin as if considering. Then you looked back down at him with a wide smile. âOnly if you help me.â
Telemachus narrowed his eyes. âWhat would I be helping you with?â
âOh, yâknow,â you said casually. âJust some revenge.â
âY/N-â
âOn Antinous,â you added, knowing that your brother would do anything to get back at his bully. You stuck out your hand, looking at him expectantly. âWell?â
Telemachus sighed, grabbing your hand, giving it a firm shake before you hoisted both him and yourself off of the ground. âItâs a deal.â
~
âWhat did he do to you?â Telemachus asked, wide eyed after you explained the plan to him.
You bit your lip, debating whether to tell him or not. If you did, he might go into over-protective brother mode, but if you didnât, heâd probably have to find out from Antinous himself. You sighed. âHe kinda made me kiss himâŠâ
âHe raped you?â
âNo, no, no!â You said quickly, throwing up your hands. âIt wasnât like that. Earlier, I snuck out again- donât you dare tell mother,â you snapped when he opened his mouth. âAnd I killed a deer. Like usual, yâknow? And then when I was trying to climb back up the wall, I used an arrow tied to a rope in order to shoot it up there, because, this is like a huge buck weâre talking about. So I climbed up, easy-peasy. But when I tried to come downâŠâ You trailed off.
âYour foot got tangled in the rope,â Telemachus guessed. âAgain.â
You huffed, crossing your arms. âYes, again,â you grumbled. âLong story short, I was hanging upside down, blood was rushing to my head, blah, blah, blah. Then Antinous found me- I donât even know how; heâs not known for taking strolls- and he bribed me. A kiss in exchange for getting him down.â
âYou didnât actuallyâŠâ Telemachus twitched his eyebrows.
You giggled. âOf course not, brother!â You exclaimed. âYou shouldâve seen me; you wouldâve been so proud of my acting skills! He actually bought the âDamsel in Distressâ thing that I was pulling off!â
Telemachus chuckled, visibly relaxing. âAlright,â he said. âHowâd you weasel your way out of that one?â
âWell,â you started. âHe never specified where to kiss him, the imbecile. So I simply walked over and kissed him on the cheek. Oh, and I left the deer for him, after taking the antlers.â You leaned closer. âBut you wanna know the best part? I drugged that buck.âÂ
Telemachus let out a loud bark of laughter, and you grinned as you shushed him; no one was supposed to find you hidden behind a barrel in the storage room.
âSo,â Telemachus said once heâd settled down. âHowâre we planning on doing this?â
You looked at him like he was nuts. âLiterally go up to Antinous and punch him in the face.â
Now it was your brotherâs turn to look at you like you were insane. âWhat? Iâm not doing that! Heâll pulverise me-â
âPlease, little owl,â you begged. âPlease, please, please, please, please!â You grabbed onto the sleeve of his tunic. âI didnât tell you that he made a suggestive comment!â
âWhat?â Telemachus demanded as he rose to his feet. His eyes flickered with anger, face twisted into a scowl. âHe said what?â
Your brother didnât even wait for an answer, storming out of the room and toward the dining hall, you scurrying after him.
You found Telemachus facing Antinous, bristling with uncontrollable rage.Â
âWhoa, whoa, whoa, little wolf,â Antinous said with a smirk. âWhatâs gotten under your skin today?â
âItâs not what!â Telemachus shouted, taking a swing at the suitorâs face. âIt's who! And itâs you!â
Antinous grabbed his fist, smile stretching wider. âAnd what have I done today, little wolf? I havenât even talked to you this fine morning.â
âYou made my sister kiss you!â Telemachus spat. âAnd you put suggestive comments in her ears!âÂ
Antinous raised his eyebrows innocently. âI didnât make her kiss me. She chose to.â
You gasped in horror in outrage, emerging from your spot in the shadows. âI did nothing of the sort!â
âAh!â Antinous let out a laugh that sounded less boisterous and more⊠nervous than before. âIf it isnât the princess herself!â
You fell upon him, teeth bared in a furious snarl. You werenât in control of your movements anymore- you simply punched and slapped and kicked.Â
Before you could even realize what youâd done, Antinous was pinned beneath you, your knee in his chest in almost exactly the same position it had been when youâd pinned Telemachus. He gazed up at you, eyes wide and filled with something you couldnât name.Â
âBeautiful,â he murmured under his breath.
âWhat was that?â You asked sharply, bringing your forearm to his throat as if daring him to say it louder.Â
You bared your teeth at him, standing up. You grabbed Telemachusâs bicep, dragging him out of the doors behind you. You glanced behind you one last time, narrowing your eyes at Antinous, who was still laying on the ground.Â
He gave a small smirk, and you scowled in return.
âI hope that taught you not to mess with a woman,â you hissed as you exited the dining room.
Odysseus offhandedly says âthanks, sonâ to Antinous who spends the rest of the interaction trying not to giggle, cry, or stand completly still (he fails and gets a big hug from his father in law and bawls like a little baby)

Post Epic where Telemachus yaps a lot to Odysseus because there's a lot to say to his father but he tones it down because he thinks he's annoying him. But Odysseus reassures him that he wants to hear everything about his life that he missed. Good things. Bad things. Anything. He just wants his son to be comfortable around him.
i hope they realize that this is the same thing as calling a person who acts like a "stereotypical gay" or just behaves abnormal a "faggot".
not all queer people will act like that and it's especially rude to call them a historically demeaning term, even if it isn't being used on a gay person themself, there's still harm being done.
pwNPD are called "narcissistic" because guess what? it's their fucking disorder but calling any asshole you see a narcissist will automatically put a bad name on those with the disorder because it's IN THE NAME.
same goes with "Schizo". it's in the disorder name, SchizoSpec, but generalizing it to "crazy" and using it one anyone who you think is out of touch and doing horrible things because of it is also giving those with the disorder a bad rep.
you are using word that are historically known for being used to demean people of these groups and those that struggle mentally and bastardizing them and giving them a worse name and worsening the stigma by using them in an insulting way.
what if i am gonna get you pregnant?? đ« @badwitheris - Tumblr Blog | Tumlook
