hey everyone, I posted a great deal of new art on my patreon, here are some crops! I get paid tomorrow.

It would mean the world to me if you guys could come and check it out, and if you'd like to subscribe- I only charge literally one dollar a month for access to almost 400 pieces of exclusive artwork.

I am trans and disabled from the global south, and more opportunities to create art so I can make ends meet for my family is immense, and something I do not take for granted.

I purged every oc from cara, I don't post anything over there unless it's fanart or a sh1tpost. (40 followers and so many arts over 2 years....absolute gone)

Let's pretend for a minute that that is true. That it uses the exact same amount of energy

WE STILL SHOULDN'T DOUBLE THAT

We have the internet. We have Wikipedia. We don't NEED "AI" on top of it that just steals from everywhere and gets shit wrong

But no. A normal search engine search is NOT comparable with AI at all. It looks for adresses of data that's ALREADY THERE. It just points you to it.

That's like turning into a street to get to a library. Yes, you're using a car, and that's not ideal. But the road is already there and you're using it

AI wastes vast amounts of energy and water with EVERY prompt. It doesn't simply spit out an internet address. It GENERATES an answer.

That's like having to build an entire new street from scratch whenever you wanted to go somewhere. Instead of using the one that's already there right next to it. And you don't even get to the library, but end up at a Chuck-E-Cheese or whatever, so you have to build a new road to try and get to your destination. And the road sucks as well

And we're not even going to talk about the cognitive issues AI causes

Small packaging changes can create a big ocean impact. We can make a world without plastic that’s healthier for people and our ocean planet.
