Anon. They don't use playback theu use back track as some other bands do

They are playing live and Noah does sing, but they use a lot of effects on stage that are prerecorded. Which is not very rocknroll. It used to be more when Matt was in charge. Now at least in the last tour there weren't too many effects on Noah voice. Because the amount of autotune there were before was embarrassing

Agree on the autotune they used it so much before and it was noticeable, now it sounds even better so clearly noah doesn't need it that heavily.

Do they?? I don't know much about it and now i feel stupid. I get some of it is playback like there are strings on what it cost etc and lot other stuff in the background on lot of the songs that are playback, I do realise it's not coming from the stage... but they still actually play their instruments right?! And Noah definitely sings live

I just didn't think it was an issue they do that, is that why some ppl think they're not real metal

I get it's not for everyone but the reasons were so fucking stupid.
