Rosewick County Chapter Three Spoiler Exerpt
They were interrupted by the sound of screeching over their house. Something loud, shrill, almost like a human scream doubled over into something demonic. Following the screeching, was the sound of a rhythmic woosh, woosh, woosh, so intense it made the pictures on the walls shake and caused one to fall off, the glass shattering like the thunder that had been crashing across the skies for the last four days. Both Chris and Marissa jumped and looked at the photo on the floor. It had been a photo of the two of their family, looking happy on a bright summer's day, a stark contrast to skies now; dark, brooding, ready to let loose a storm.
I dreamed I was still doing an apprenticeship (I did both a college internship and a "young apprentice" program, yeah, that's literally what it's called lmao, so I don't even know if there's anything similar outside Brazil), and they assigned me to help some guy with a bunch of IT infrastructure tasks.
And I kept thinking, where the hell do I know this guy from? I KNOW I know him, but I can't remember from where.
It was literally, simply β¨β¨β¨ Nick Ruffilo β¨β¨β¨ going through hell and taking it out on everyone. And because I was a "young apprentice," my job was basically to follow him around everywhere and listen to him complain about the shitty work the other IT guys had done.
I feel obligated to write a one-shot about this now. A SFW version of my friend's @choillysblog fic.
(And this made me realize that maybe I actually need a vacation because I've been dreaming about work for the past few days).
